I will be coming in from Cleveland and this spot looks perfect for a pre-round fill-up. Anyone else interested?
I donât think Iâm bringing my driver or 3 wood to this event. Donât need to risk those clubs blowing up on me in the cold.
Yeah I have t200 irons with the hollow bodies, so Iâm going to bring my old irons and my backup driver. My 3w is like 13 years old and I have backup heads for it, so I can live with it if that cracks

Both my driver and my three wood are pre-2010 and I donât have backups or money to buy new ones. lmao
The Rumble 2024 was expensive
You broke your driver at another event too, didnât you?
Wait, youâre more at risk cracking clubs in colder temperatures?
YepâŚthat was the second Callaway driver I broke near the beginning of a competitive round. Fun!
Wouldnât have that issue if you didnât hit the ball so hard.
Shouldnât have been standing there
Iâm in.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRINGING SOME OLDER CLUBS DUE TO TEMPS. Your clubs will crack, I almost guarantee it.
So white golf balls are probably a bad idea huh?
To be fair, while the forecast does not look that great atm, nothing sticks around for very long, BUT, colored balls would be a wise decision
Does anyone have experience with how persimmons will hold up to the cold? Already planning to play a softer ball, but donât want to mess those up. Worst case, I am sure the 1 iron blade will roll forever on the frozen ground.
If they explode, they explode haha
Looks like weâre expecting at least a couple inches of snow over the next week and then temps that donât get above freezing until after the Fropen. What is the procedure if the course is 100% blanketed in snow?
Also, I have an extra set of blades that I donât mind lending out if there are any hollow body users that donât want to risk it.
