We may, or may not, have planted something on the golf course at the first extinction…

We have some of these still available from the last one

I’ve had talks with the grounds crew in the past and we should be able to dial it up by renting the golf course… there will be some electricity out there, one way or another.

Sounds like we may have a guest appearance by the architect, would be sweet to work with him on hole locations

Do not hit it in the native area right. That junk is thick and makes holding the green difficult. I hit a good shot out of the junk but rolled off the green and down the hill. Great hole and I agree with my Gallop partner, that par 3 is a bear! Especially if @leftysauce is setting the tee box and pin. #Buster

Anybody played here recently? Was considering a stop on the way to Sweetens, but would be by myself and curious about turf conditions (firm, getting softer, etc.)

@pearcebarr was there this past weekend. Hopefully he can fill you in. I know we have gotten a decent amount of rain Sunday and Monday this week, but it should dry out fairly quickly without much rain in the forecast (in southern Indiana at least) the rest of the week.

$55 gets it shipped to your door and even includes a small charitable donation that we include with our merch sales

The staff was having a rough morning the day I played, so I am not sure if this is indicative of a larger trend or just a few no shows fucking things up.

Course is still new so there are some spots that aren’t the best out there. Still waiting on the turf to take hold, and we aren’t exactly in grass growing season anymore. Nothing too bad, and it was all in areas that you wouldn’t expect a good shot to wind up. If you don’t wanna play out of it, then just don’t hit it over there. Right?

Greens were slow, like really slow. Like slower than pretty much any greens I have ever played. I chalk this up to the ‘no-shows’, and whoever was supposed to cut the greens that morning taking the day off and not telling anybody. I played with people who were there the weekend before, and they said they were the fastest greens they had ever played that weekend.

It was not as firm as I would have liked it, but, again, they are trying to get grass to take hold still, and I think Park City had gotten a good bit of rain in the days prior.

It wasn’t in perfect conditions, but it is worth a visit. While I would have liked for the greens to be a bit faster, and the turf to be a bit firmer, I still had a fantastic time. I have no complaints, and would happily play the course again under the same conditions.

Let’s save on shipping, just bring one down to Jax this week and we can square up. Thanks man!

I can speak to this being an issue of illness circulating through the staff. From the cart staff to shop staff and maintenance crew, I’m hard pressed to remember a better staff at a non-resort course. Everyone has always been friendly and more than accommodating, sorry to hear you didn’t get that same experience on your first trip but I have no doubts it will prove to be the outlier

Only if you agree to game it this weekend

I can 100 percent agree. The staff there might as well work as Pinehurst. They drive the cart to your car, ask if you need anything and make it a 100 percent enjoyable experience. Especially on a public track.

Everyone was great, it was just one of those days. Happens to everyone in every industry.

I have nothing but positive stuff to say about my entire experience, and anything that was less than ideal was totally understandable. They did everything they could to make sure we had a great day, and that is all that matters in my book.

When I asked my wife how much she enjoyed playing Park Mammoth, she said it put the F.U in Fescue
