Just convinced my better half that going to the WM Open is a “business” trip so that’ll be a blast. Next on the agenda is a KY getaway in June…stay tuned…

Can’t wait for the write up on this “interestingly” shaped hole…

Should include: “It’s bigger than you think!”

That would be 17. Rated the 4th hardest hole on the course. All I can say is that if you think you hooked it into the woods, you might end up with an Eagle put.

For everyone looking to plan a golf trip that doesn’t break the bank.
Let me tell you why you should sign up for this event this June.

For those looking to play a golf course with great accolades - this course meets that criteria. Park Mammoth was recently ranked the Top Public Course in the State of Kentucky as well as the #3 New Public Course in the US.

For those looking to find the next “Hidden Gem” in the US that’s in the middle of nowhere- this course meets that criteria. Seeking out hidden gems is something I enjoy doing and Park Mammoth delivers on this based on adventurous drive in and the course delivering great shot value on every tee shot, approach, chip etc. From the the long single lane road connecting the county road onto the property, the reveal once you drive past the trees on the right, along with the Red Barn donning the Park Mammoth logo giving you directions- the drive in is great. Keep your eyes open to the left of #14 tee box for the honey hole. It’s a scavenger hunt of sorts for those who enjoy the chase as much as the golf itself.

The course itself delivers with great conditions, excellent greens, approach shots and chips where you can use back boards and ramps to help funnel the ball to the hole. The maintenance staff is full of former employees from Olde Stone in Bowling Green, KY so they know how to take care of a golf course. If you have hit a rut playing rounds at the same tree lined country club that offers the player little, to no, imagination on how to play a hole, this course will fill that void.

For those saying- What do I do in Park City, KY or Bowling Green, KY to kill time?

Park Mammoth is next to the world’s longest cave system. Mammoth Cave National Park offers a variety of things to check out for those who enjoy spending time outdoors.

If your a big car guy - Bowling Green, KY is he home of the National Corvette Museum.

If your looking to spend more time in a city with lots of music history Nashville, TN is less than 1.5 hours south. Visit the Hermitage Historic site where Andrew Jackson lived or grab a few drinks on Broadway.

Last but not least, if you are a bourbon drinker there are probably 10 great distilleries within a 1.5 hour drive of this course.

If you want some 2 liters of Mountain Dew, go to Bullitt County.

If you want bourbon, go to Nelson County.

I’ve signed up and am excited about this couple of questions, is there a cut off for how many will get to play in the event says 69 currently signed up? And do I need to pay anything in advance to keep my spot?

We have 72 spots and I believe a $50 deposit will hold your spot!

Love to see it!

To answer your questions, the field is limited to 72… To secure your spot, check out the link below and you can submit a deposit to lock in! Over the course of the next week or so, I’ll be updating the signup list and info packet to reflect who has paid and reset deposit dates for those who haven’t yet.
