The Darkroom: general photography posts and discussion

It is a fairly busy photo. I was suprised how great it came out though. I flew the morning if the super min a couple weeks ago. But trying to get pics thru those airplane windows isn’t great.

The throw AND the catch.

Was wearing my Hjonk hoodie. Had to have been good luck.

Awesome pics! How long did the turnaround take?

Ektar is so good. Kodak ColorPlus is a decent more readily available alternative. I was traveling once and stopped in to buy some film. They were out of Ektar. I asked what was similar. He said “well nothing”

Who was more clutch under pressure? Paddock or @TCRBrad? I know my vote

I think 35mm film is going to be item #1 on my christmas list this year. So. Much. Fun.

Seriously so good. Did you mention anywhere what you were shooting on?

Thanks! Those are from a Pentax P3n with Kodak Ektar 100 and Gold 200

Back shooting concerts again after a summer full of the sports ball and such

Had to be some of the best lighting I’ve ever seen. Incredible work by the lighting engineer.

Three days ago I finally made it to Everest Base Camp, an experience I won’t forget. When I’m back in London I’ll post a full trip report.

It was a bluebird day.

A yak taking a pause from munching on the heather just outside of Pheriche.

Coming down to Tukla from the Tukla pass.

The Khumbu Icefall.

Everest

The Khumbu glacier. The teahouses at Gorekshep are forever doing repairs as the glacier slowly changes the surrounding landscape.
