Got the email this morning. Curious if we are still doing an intr-roost comp. And are we doing 36/day?
It’s 18/day, and the comp will likely be individual/not Roost-related but we could potentially do a game-within-the-game for the Roosts too. For glory. Or an actual prize, idk.

Roost comp is going to be hard with so many roosts being represented. We will have to go into the lab for it.
Translation: it’s lower priority right now than several other things.

I get that for sure. BUT I remember one of the impetuses for us doing this was to do a North Star v. Great Plains thing.
And I want that. Maybe something like a college/HS style comp where if we have 12 players the top 10 scores count for limited net/stroke thing?

for a little clarification, I floated this very early in the process and the event has grown a ton/changed fairly substantially since then. I have a lot of balls in the air right now and would love to make this work but want to be realistic with all the other details that need to be addressed before June.

I’m hoping for the two Landmand rounds, at least one Old Dane round on Sunday/Monday, plus a Saturday round and a Tuesday morning round. This is my “golf trip” for the year so I’m playing all the golf.

I’ve been thinking of making Old Dane my early Tuesday and potentially late Saturday round. I’ve got a 9hr drive, so maybe a solid 9 at a cool place it probably better than a full 18, we’ll see haha
Once I get the final numbers (from my excel sheet), I’ll probably book a few tee times and have people take them, then cancel what I need too the Wednesday before. Want to give the courses time to cover.
I’ve got a few reminders to book as soon as I can for Whispering Creek and Landsmeer.

Yeah a Saturday twilight round at Old Dane sounds pretty tempting. Some cold beers, good weather before the gauntlet at Landmand. I’m also getting out of school so this will be a big stress relief, making that sound even better.

I’m hoping to head to Sioux City on Friday if possible, but if I don’t head that way until Saturday, then I might join you. I haven’t decided how I want to do that, so I haven’t booked a room yet.
