I don’t think there’s been much organizing at all for bonus rounds other than small pockets of people.
I am coming Friday night and leaving tuesday morning, figured I’d hang around Monday after the round and wanted an extra day to play golf on the front end
I am definitely playing Saturday and have booked a round. I might book somewhere Tuesday, but have a 9hour drive so we’ll see
I am looking at potentially doing Landsmeer gc, but did prebook a 4 some at Tanaka GC for 10:40a since it’s about 90mns, still would prefer Landsmeer, but didn’t want to miss out on a good GC. Open to anyone. I’m personally staying at the Cottonwood Conference Center but can give a ride if needed.

Anyone interested in splitting a cabin at Ponca State Park? A cabin that has 4 bedrooms is 310 a night. Seems pretty reasonable

The rest of the 2024 season was booked solid by approximately 3:30 AM on Jan 1

Nor should it have been. @Ultra-Kiger good on you for managing to miss the most aggregated story of the new year. All I saw for the first week of Jan was “golf course sells entire 2024 tee sheet in 3 hours”

I’m a bit behind on the thread, but does anyone have plans for golf on the Saturday before, or are most people traveling that day? I’m trying to decide if it makes sense to fly in on Friday for some extra golf.
I’m flying in from NC on Friday and am up for some golf on Saturday. With 100+ participants it shouldn’t be any problem getting a 4 some together somewhere on Saturday.

I can start a google doc (or something) for people looking for a 4 some Saturday morning and take suggestions for the preference on time, distance from Sioux, etc. Add a column for those needing rides or those who will have cars, etc.
If I get enough I don’t mind calling for times or working to try and book times in mass for groups.
Edit: I’ve put some places above, I think to make it simple (and selfish for me) I’d probably list the three GCs I’ve looked at and see who’s in and what the interest level is in each.

I went full golf sicko, planning to play Tatanka twice on Saturday then hustle over to Sioux City. Booked as a single, love the Google Sheet idea to get some people to pair up with.

I added a few columns and linked the GCs I played + added another “other” column. I’ve also added a Tuesday column (please let me know your preferred time here).
If we get enough interest - I don’t mind calling places and sending some notes but would want >12 before doing that. I am open to feedback about this as it’s my first time doing something like this haha

Probably won’t be in for Saturday golf, possibly a very early round on Tuesday.
But I might try and play 9 at old Dane again either Sunday or Monday depending on tee times
