I’m way late to this one… but I’m a Charlotte local. Been underwater with a new baby (3rd) and home renovation. Looks like the spreadsheet is closed out now, but I’d love to join if anyone backs out (its my birthday weekend). I can come last minute, live 10 minutes from the course (its where I First Tee volunteer). Just let me know! Thanks guys.

First time poster, long time listener, and CLT resident here. I saw the event schedule posted on twitter just now and was surprised and elated to see Charlotte on the list. Figured now was as good a time as any to register on the Refuge.
I’ll add myself as an alternate. If I don;t get into the main event i’m always down for the hang, beer/bbq, and Sunday golf.

After the comedown from the Monterey trip has set in, I’m delighted to be picked up by this event.
I have a local buddy who’s moving to Charlotte for a job change March 2nd. Spoke with him today and he’s interested in joining in on the shenanigans so I put him on the sheet.

To be fair, they got 4 inches of rain in about 2-3 hours
Even Sifford was underwater yesterday, my home club was last night and when I drove by this morning all the water was back down.
Shouldn’t be any long term issues, just a terrible rainy winter we have had so far.

Back to back winters like this too, it’s been awful.
We’ll see. I’m interested to see 8 and 15 greens since they were underwater. All the bridges were too. Shit is crazy. Too much rain or not enough!

Alright I went ahead and called Mooresville about their Friday Senior League instance on their Public Calendar. They indicated that on all Friday’s the seniors (plus some other dog group IDK) have the course essentially from 9am till 1pm (or 12:45).
I am uncertain as to who is heading the coordination of Friday round activities, but keep this in mind!

I spoke with them as well, what you report is correct.
That’s pretty much “the bad hole” drainage-wise there, everything dumps on 1 as it’s the low point by a lot

Typical Charlotte weather. It was 70 on Wednesday, tornados on Thursday, sunny, cool and windy on Friday and it’s currently snowing. Heads up to those coming in from out of town that March will be just as unpredictable.
