You guis are doing this right!

I’d do some of my own but it won’t travel well on a plane. Haha!

I’ve got a Char-Grill Akorn. Basically a knock-off Green Egg. Works great though!

So what is our current schedule looking like for the weekend?

We need an excel sheet to keep track of it all so we don’t have to keep scrolling

Google Docs, but yeah.

I’m living vicariously, gentlemen. And hoping to get down that way two weekends later.

Let me know when you come down. Missing this hometown event for bachelor party at the players

Looking like 26-29, playing 27-29. But right now, it’s with my daughter, another kid I coach, and his dad. I emailed a few of those booking agencies today. Hopefully they can put together a good package… I told them both I’m in the PGA, if that helps them. If it doesn’t, I might build my own itinerary.

Back to the event…

Y’all just let me know who I owe what for food. I look forward to sitting on my butt with no responsibilities and eating/drinking whatever pops up in front of me.

Can’t wait for a refuge sampler platter.

I played a round a few weeks ago and had 2 separate groups tell me that I could be that guy’s twin.

@anon29849602 is still waiting to hear back from the course with confirmation, but @Double_Bogey_Dave, @Just-a-little-right, @RonniepND, Jared and I are working with an assist from the chairgui on high @LJP to get some details together.

Tentative schedule would be:

  • Those who show up on Friday can meet up for golf (if they are in early enough), and have dinner and drinks @ the place of your choice. I would suggest Moosehead, and we should definitely call ahead to let them know what’s up.
  • Saturday golf at Sifford all day, catered lunch of some sort at the course. Price TBD.
  • Saturday night at @Just-a-little-right and crew Airbnb if the people staying and the actual owners of the house approve. Grab local beers, grill/potluck and hang. Probably talk about how handsome we all are. If the Airbnb does not work out, we can hit the town for some green beers.
  • Sunday morning golf @ Monroe Golf Club if you can swing it, followed by many bro hugs and promises for future golf bud trips and club purchase enabling.

Some things we are pulling across the finish line:

  • We have a few charities on a short list that we can support.
  • The format of the actual golf is undetermined, and will stay that way up until closer to the event once we have a better handle on a solid number of commits to minimize changes.
  • We think we have figured out a way to have 12 holes with no cross country holes or multiple groups playing to the same green. We should be able to keep the groups to foursomes.

Can’t wait for all the non AirBnB people getting a little too drunk and crashing there. Definitely not talking about myself :joy: :joy:

A man after my own heart. No skill in cooking. All-world sampler and beer drinker.

I’m not much of a cook myself. I’ll enjoy what you guys whip up or if we just put Uber Eats to work.

Shit we could just go to/order from Cookout and call it a day.

The AirBnB is a lock for huge after party Saturday night - it says right in the confirmation ā€œParties and entertaining is allowed and encouragedā€
