I told other guys this, but we played State Tournament at Veenker this year. We went for a practice round and I was with the younger kids who hadn’t played the course. We got to 12 and I said, “You can’t miss right, but left is no big deal. You can hit it left of the cart path and be safe.”

I had two unhappy guys in my group when we got the bad news.
