Nothing new to add to what’s been said on @Privatecollection ’s efforts this weekend…truly remarkable.
Thanks to all for making it an awesome time and a big shout out to @drewp - I meet the guy at 8am on Saturday and by noon he’s offering to lug my bag around for the final round and tried to help keep us vibing through a very bad start - dude is a legend.
Apologies to @Randy and any other supporters who bet on me - we didn’t get it going until like hole #13…we just ran out of holes!
Looking forward to the next one. Get those threes up!

Nothing special. @LukeBoatright just continued a ball-striking bonanza of a round on the 18th hole and rolled in the putt that looked good the whole way. Ho-hum eagle 2 en route to 70. Classy classy round of golf.

Getting to see this (and all your other putting attempts from off the greens) as well as @MrChickPhilA walking into ankle deep mud wearing his fresh Jordans to retrieve a ball were the two most unexpected and hilarious things I witnessed all weekend.
And then I bumped into @Tibbs on the putting green early Saturday afternoon and all bets were off.

Now that my back is once again straight and the high noons have worked their way out of my system…
I want to be the 1000th person to thank @Privatecollection and the NLU folks for putting on an amazing event. I was incredibly lucky to be part of the thing at all, in honest. I will always appreciate the opportunity to meet so many awesome people and share the experience of playing in these tough conditions and making that 18 hole walk to follow the final groups at the end.
It’s amazing how quickly you can forget about a difficult round and some terrible tee shots when you have so many other great memories and new friendships to push it all out mind. There’s no other place in my life where I’ll just sit down between strangers at a table to just join in and make friends than at a Nest/Roost event. It’s a gift in my life that cannot be be adequately described.
Cheers to everyone and I look forward to seeing as many of you all at as many future events as possible.

I guess now is a good as time as any to be the 1001st person to say my thanks to @Privatecollection and the NLU squad for what was an indelible golf memory for me. Playing epic (and difficult courses) in a competitive environment, all the while meeting amazing people from all around the US/World is not something i thought i would ever do when i picked up the game ~7 years ago.
I did not bring my best to my flight, but @cwalsh27 was a runaway train so it was unlikely it would have made a difference.
Final thought, had i known that i would be referred to my handle in person 3 years ago when i joined the refuge (yes i know i missed the OG days), i dont think i would have picked an obscure reference to my enjoyment of photography that no one would understand. You live and you learn.
Hope to see many of you out on the west coast in some of our Lowcal events. Come join @JoeyKnish, @bmb430, @RCH96 and many others. We have great courses, great weather, and some fun events on the horizon.
