Sedona Golf resort was decent from what I remember, played up there in 2014. But other than that it is basically a C-suite extravaganza up there! I got to play Pine Canyon on that same trip, I had never experienced anything like that before

When I played there in March of 2021 it was at least 150 if not closer to 200 if I’m remembering correctly. Definitely worth it for me though it was really fun and the scenery is unreal

The OP on Reddit said he saw them at Dobson Ranch. That would be on my short list for Strapped: Phoenix courses and fits within the budget even in peak season.
Dobson is already overrun by golf social media influencers as it is.

Bacon used to talk about that place when he lived in the valley. I’m sure they would get some good intel from him and Max on courses
Yeah Bacon played in the Men’s League all the time and Max and Joel Dahmen have played in them as well a handful of times IIRC. It’s a solid muni and super accessible to anyone. It’s just so dang crowded all day every day. Used to be my home course until they put in TopTracer and it suddenly became a 40 minute wait for a spot on the driving range.

Doing some independent journalism over here and there seems to be a lot more smoke to the story: Per the GHIN app, both Big and Neil have posted rounds this month with a rating and slope of 68.9/119, which matches the Dobson Ranch white tees
The background of DJ’s vid does appear to be cactus-like in nature. Place looks nice, could be an Airbnb or maybe Max gave them the keys to his pad while he’s out of town.

Another thing about Dobson Ranch: there are some good benches and plenty of spots to slap stickers.

I beat up that range from 03-05. only spot around with good lights and grass. They had that massive net at like 120 yards and a good putting green. And for some reason I remember them having a good ice machine. those times were much simpler for me

Aguila, where we just held out roost major, is 72.4/129. So close. That’s from the tips though so likely not the tees he would play anyway.
Definitely seems deep for one-ups but maybe one of the sanctions was having to play from the tips for the money round

On the GHIN app the same tees are listed as 72.8/128 so that’s for sure not it.
After looking at an alarming number of courses, the only one I could find to match on GHIN is the Wigwam Gold Course from the championship tees
I looked at wigwam as well but the site I found the scorecard on didn’t match up. That would be a hell of a test though if that’s the course. It’s like 7350 yards from the tips.
