Strapped Baltimore (Season 5) - @KVV rants about different shows

I still have faith that Randy can pull a rabbit out of the hat one day. All it takes is one magical round at the right time.

I could listen to @KVV talk about The Wire forever. I re-watched the whole show because I knew this was coming down the line and I got to say that I was not disappointed I did.

Well done lads @Randy @MerchCzar

@djpie another banger as always.

I’ve never watched The Wire, so I missed all the references.

Still, I want to tip my cap to DJ. This was a masterful piece of editing. Your work is getting better and better.

And to KVV. You gave a really heartfelt representation of your city. They should be proud of you.

a Monday drop!?!?!? Today is literally the PERFECT day for this. Will be doing VERY little from the home office, consuming content and “managing” a few year end things through email.

Job well done @djpie - always seem to enjoy ep3 of each Strapped season the most when the people/location get the spotlight as much as the golf.
Also - shout out to Greystone for blaring some Garth Brooks as the boys were enjoying some beverages on the back patio.

i was hoping this would drop today as tomorrow is going to be eaten up with travel and family…yessssssssssss!

Something I never thought I’d type: I want to go to Baltimore.

Do it. I lived in DC for six years and would get to Baltimore every once in awhile. Go for the food alone. Everything is the right price and it rocks. The rough parts are rough like any major city but I’ve never felt unsafe. And what I mean by rough is run down or boarded up buildings. Frankly those parts feel really empty rather than dangerous.

Lived in Baltimore for a few years right out of school, so I will always have a soft spot for Charm City. Took a first job there kind of knowing it would be temporary, but it was seriously tough to leave. Baltimore has a complicated history, but it is full of some of the most genuine people you will ever meet

I played Greystone a bunch a year ago, in a window of like 8 months, when I was constantly driving down to DC. First experience with strapped playing a course that I’m familiar with. That course is a legitimate hidden gem, it’s kind of tucked and close to PA; there really isn’t that much play on it either.

DJ moving out in front of the camera for this episode!

Yeah it looked really good.

The interviews this season were stellar. Shoutout @KVV and Andy Nelson. Loved the quotes before each episode @djpie great touch

Excellent season, being from the area, it really hit it on the mark. The final interview with @KVV topped the whole thing off nicely. My only wish is if the strapped boys come back they should consider some points south of the city such as Gunpowder Golf Club in Laurel.

Will echo everyone else’s sentiments and say what a fantastic season and they just seem to keep getting better and better.

Just want to hang out with KVV, talk about The Wire and what i may have missed the first few viewings or the bigger pictures, and then maybe talk some Jason Isbell as well. If you havent had a chance to catch the Radio GaGa podcast with Mrs. Pie and KVV talking about Isbell;s album Southeastern, i would highly recommend. Made me appreciate the album and him as an artist a lot more.
