Hi All- I’m visiting Naples area (we are Americans living in Amsterdam) with my wife and just paid $16 for a bucket of 60 balls at a public range where the grass was basically weeds… Is this normal?!
If there are any suggestion within an hour or so for a somewhat affordable course? Also, if anyone wants to play this week, would be great to meet you!
$16 is pretty good, we have hit the $20+ mark in orlando.

Hey OJers! The wife and I will be heading down to Miami on Feb 6-9 to escape the disgusting cold of the Great Plains roost. Got permission from the wife to bring the clubs and get a game in, would love to meet up and play with some Splash of OJ guys! Depending on where you’re staying in Miami consider the Brightline or Tri-Rail trains as transportation to WPB.

I was down in Orlando for everyone’s favorite one million square feet chaos bonanza and we played Evermore’s two courses last Saturday and Sunday.
I think, possibly, the “links” course at Evermore might be one of the better ‘off the plane and to the first tee’ courses I’ve played in Florida. You can basically hit it anywhere out there. Tough price tag from what I understand (we caught a discount) but we had a great time, even though the four of us hadn’t touched a club since December
I’m assuming this thread gets 50 post like this every winter, but here’s another one.
I’ll be spending the weekend in Melbourne, FL in a few weeks and am hoping to be able to sneak in a round of golf. Any recommendations for that area or within a 1 hr drive on where to play?
