We also actively purged him last year before the Rust Belt so he couldn’t see what we were up to with our pairings etc. Maybe it was tied to that?
Or was that a joke that I missed?

Standing on the first tee during the last match a year ago was the coldest I’ve ever been on a golf course. A June date makes me very, very happy.

The course has confirmed that we can move the date to June 28th. Hopefully that frees up some more of you, and if you had signed up but now can’t make it, I really am sorry, but this was the date we had originally agreed on.

Does NGC have a driving range?
Yes. It is only the size of a shorter Par 3 with a green and hole. Your own balls must be used and retrieved on the range.
If so, SIck. (The collecting your own balls) part.

I think I saw on their site that they have an indoor sim for rentals. I didn’t ask about it, but I’d guess that if no one is using it that morning, we could at a minimum hit balls into the screen without turning the thing on, just to get loose.
Warming up is for squares.

I know I had a great time last year even though I played one of my worst rounds of the year. Just got some bad luck this year that my daughter started dance this year and her recital is the same day.

I MIGHT have been able to make the original date work but being gone for two full saturdays in June (due to our FCF major event on the 21st) and then being on-call on the 28th, was going to be tough anyway, and now that it’s moved to the 28th officially, I’m going to have to miss for sure.
I’m bummed, I enjoyed the event a ton last year even though my penis was inside of my body the entire day.
FCF gonna get payback this year tho. Count on that.

If someone wants to hit balls there is a full range, that has a ball dispensing machine for early morning hitting, about two miles away at The Golf Shop. I highly recommend stoping in and seeing Jim for any equipment needs, I guarantee you won’t find better prices anywhere.

I can be bought. Not cheap. But doable.
