We have plenty, we just don’t have anybody dumb enough to want to run it.
I don’t have the time, others I’ve talked to are in the same boat. The last time I organized a state wide thing, it was a bunch of work for a very small number of people to actively participate, a few more to sort of participate, and the rest just not giving a shit.

I am dumb enough to do it, but for
One of the rules I try to live by is don’t ask anyone to do something I wouldn’t do and I’m not willing/don’t have the capacity to go beyond a generous version of the Milwaukee metro area for this. Call me old fashioned, but it feels super scummy to come in with demands that exclude a significant portion of your roost square mileage right out of the box. And I mean no offense to my brethren in the great white northern parts of Wisconsin, it’s just not something I can pull off.

We’ve got NW Wisconsin covered. And most of your peoples are in Milwaukee/Madison general region. You can still accept people from wherever they are - NE Iowa, Rockford area, hell @JScore already withdrew his NSU membership, probably because he’s sick of me. But you don’t have to bend over backwards to accommodate their location, if that makes sense. Hold events and meetups in places that make the most sense for most of your members, and the people will come if they want to get involved.
