My vote is to go all woke with half sets and Sunday bags at eagle springs. See if they will do an all day deal or something.
*my Sunday bag cost like $12 and has a 20+ year old double strap on it. I’m not woke enough for an expensive Sunday bag.

I thought Pine Hills was overrated when playing it a couple years back. It’s nice but it’s not top 10 in the state nice. IMO
I think the Irish doesn’t get enough love. It’s actually a better layout than the Straits, it just doesn’t have the views and the holes on the water.

Pine Hills has some of the most interesting greens I have played on in the state, conditions are always fantastic, I’m treated as though I’m a member while on the property (which is more than I can say for other courses that are on my list), and the entire property makes you think your way around.

- Erin Hills (especially with the Drumland now)
- Minoqua
- Lawsonia Links
- Mammoth Dunes
- Sand Valley
- Straits (and even this is over-rating it)
- Irish (I was tempted to put the Irish higher than the Straits)
- Oconomowoc Golf Club
Just outside top 10 in no order: Wild Rock, Oneida GCC, River Course, Meadow Valleys, LaCrosse CC, Maple Bluff CC, URidge, Pine Hills, Bishops Bay CC.
Overrated: The Bull, Sentry World, Pine Hills, Straits, Washington County, Bergamont

Wait, who rates this high? It’s fine enough, but I would never mistake it for highly rated.
I’ve been trying to figure out if it’d be worth joining there. I suppose I should really play the place at least once before I think too hard about it. Might be hard to convince my wife to put off a new house in favor of a golf membership.
