Roll Call: Western New York, 2025 Roost sign up

They also could. Its was my least favorite but have this past year found a way around there so that I don’t hate it and even really enjoy some holes. Besides, the hang would be great regardless.

Biggest issue is if you have any kind of directional issue of the tee, unless you carry it like 230 or more then you can be screwed. I think it has really fun greens and is in good shape typically.

But agree the people make the event not the course

Lifelong Rochester resident here, who will be moving to Buffalo (Williamsville) this summer - looking to #getinvolved in the Refuge and have the opportunity to play more of the local courses WNY has to offer. Hoping everyone is surviving another winter of sim/dome golf or at least has the opportunity to get south to play.

Great, welcome, watch this thread, I expect we’ll have a couple mini meetups and a lot of ‘need a 4ths’

looking like there could be a good turnout for a Western NY refuge event… I’m more central just outside Syracuse but happy to make a drive to tee it up. I have a couple reciprocals out in Rochester and Buff area that I have yet to take advantage of as well. ( Monroe CG, Irondequoit CC, Orchard Park CC & Locust Hill) i think is the short list…

Monroe and Irondequoit are so good. Haven’t played orchard park.

Roughly where in Williamsville? Moving from Tonawanda into the Maple/Forest area of Williamsville. Always open for a game.

Definitely in for a Refuge event, willing to help plan if we want to setup a committee message me.

Current member at Cherry Hill Club in Canada and happy to host anyone who wants to play.

Orchard Park is pretty good. Has like 3 new holes that suck (built to make room for the driving raneg) but the rest is pretty good. I believe they have done some work to some of the older holes (drainage and trees). I also have a reciprocal there and also plan to play in the NYSGA Am Series event there.

Irondequoit front 9 is amazing, back 9 is ok stark difference between the Ross front.

Yet to play Monroe but would love to some day.

Not a huge fan of Locust Hill.

I live just off the 90 at Cleveland Dr. I’m always looking for a game when the weather cooperates. Also, headed to Bandon for the first week in April if anyone has been and has any insights or tips!

Ok so about 10 minutes from me.

Funny I’m going to Bandon in November. You’ll have to let me know any tips or tricks.

If you ever want to go to the dome before the weather breaks let me know.

I won’t be far from there. Jealous of those headed to Bandon this spring/fall, enjoy.

You in the Williamsville area too?

Hey Guys! New here, but I’m from West Seneca. Play Glen Oak, Harvest Hill, Arrowhead, but up for games anywhere.

Great to be here!

Welcome and watch this thread, the season is almost here! We’re so close to Terry Hills running carts off the path for opening day.

I walked 9 at Willowbrook in Lockport today - it was great.

Soft, no roll whatsoever, super furry greens, but totally playable.

Yeah weather has been good this last week, hopefully stays like this and stuff gets going soon.

Monroe is an absolute gem, great layout, really good bunkering, just a fun course to play
