Roll Call: WA (PNW Crew)

Definitely. The events are a ton of fun and they do a great job with them. Really an awesome group of people.

Checking in! Living in Seattle, but have lived in Western Washington pretty much my whole life. Hope to play more this season, play some different tracks, etc. Would be down to try get to some meetups up and down the I5 corridor if it happens!

That’s the wheelhouse - just waiting for this useless snow to move on…

Welcome to the refuge friend!

We can start planning some stuff for next month or the end of this month if everyone wants to. We should plan a 36 day at gold mountain if we can get a good group together. Not sure where else has a good place with two 18’s around.

This is something I’d be up for. Very convenient for a trip across on the Coho.

Would definitely be into this. Would be great to get a couple groups out there.

Follow up, trying to recreate the magic and do the winter series 2 person scramble over at home course on the 7th??

Might be able to. That’s the day after my daughters birthday so I’d have to see what we have planned. It’s pretty pricey though isn’t it? Last I looked it was $95? I’ve been trying to find others who have their handicap so that I could play in some of these.

Priorities for sure!

$80 a person at the moment and agreed. Was meaning to rock the stableford at gold mountain this week but lost track of the sign up date with the snow :tipping_hand_man:

Yeah I’ll look at it and see what I can do. I’ll let you know for sure soon. I told her I’m planning on playing a good many tournaments this year. I’m planning on doing the Puget Sound Am and the Seattle Am. Those are my big ones.
Edit: Also trying to get more dudes to join the VGA league and play in it as well. They are expanding heavily right now.

Very cool.

What’s this look like? I remember we talked a bit about it but would probably love to get involved

Check out vgagolf.org and they have the sign up. They set you up with a handicap or you can use your current one. They should be announcing the PNW schedule around March or so and they have a lot around here and in Oregon. I am good friends with our regional director and he said that they are planning at least 10 in our local area.

That would be fun! If there was a way to get a deal for playing both Home Course and Chambers on the same day that would be ideal

I did a little more digging into the VGA and they are updating the website. The schedule and new website will launch January 25th. So we shall see what it’s looking like.

Sic I’ll definitely keep an eye out.

Anyone playing the WA golf winter series stableford event at Gold Mountain? It was postponed to next Friday (the 24th) and you can still register.

Would love to see some more folks out there!

Do we have enough folks to make a gather this weekend somewhere? It’s supposed to rain in the forecast for the coming days but just trying to see if we can get a group together.

What course are you thinking?

Doesn’t matter to me. I’m just seeing if there’s enough guys for us to get a meet going. It’s supposed to be raining all week.

I might be able to swing a Sunday round if it’s a bit later start :innocent: would be down for wherever really.

I still like the home course meet up idea in February. Would the 15th or 16th work for anyone?

I’m in London that week but would be down for another time. This time of the year is a challenge with travel, but I’ll definitely join in during the spring.
