Just to add to Vinitierra. There’s some elevation change but nothing too extreme. If you want extreme elevation changes in RVA that would be Hanover Golf Club. Vinitierra and RNK play totally different though despite being sister course.ms

Tom mentioned that because he’s played with me a few times, my home course is on the Blue Ridge and it literally a mountain. So this sounds like something I’m used to!
also Q Daddy’s BBQ just opened in Wakefield,VA which is right on 460 if you travel to the beach that way. I stop for to-go bbq for my work trips every other week ha. Cheers. @country35

I got a chance to play riverfront last trip out. I really liked that design. Had a really good round going until I think like #16 too, where it like a forced draw iron off the tee. I don’t hit draws well

… don’t speed. My in-laws live on 460 in Windsor. I’ve gotten tickets, but my wife always gets let off with a warning because she went to high school with all the troopers.

Bbq: Yes RIP Cowlings and it was good too when I stopped there a few times also. I havent tried prince george family bbq yet though. May snag next week or so.
Peanuts: Big fan of peanut stops in Wakefield (plantation is my favorite).
Speed/love of 460 ha: Yes, watch those traps in each town. Much more peaceful drive than 64 and tunnels.

If we’re talking Virginia speed traps, I-77 in Wythe and Carroll County between the I-81 corridor and North Carolina. Four different police agencies actively in competition to see which one can write the most tickets.

I cover all of NC and all VA for work and this area is literally the only place I fear. I got a ticket for literally 4 over on 77 in carroll county. I have fire fighter tags too that generally allow me to avoid much of the bullshit that cops can bring.
