Hi folks,
We have our last Roost event of the season coming on October 19th @ Piper’s Heath.
Wanted to post this here incase anyone local has been missing out on Roost events and wanted to join in. It will be a great chance to meet the crew and get involved before the dreaded off-season.
Cost will be $125 and will include golf + net skins, and a team game.
If you’re interested, you can join the Roost on Unknown via the link below and register. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions.
Wish I could make it.
With the NLU crew now stacking, was looking around at getting the Stack System.
Has anyone ordered one up to Canada? With it being so expensive I didn’t want to get hit with ridiculous import fees and taxes. Just curious if anyone has insight to share. And if it worked for them.
I got curious and looked at it. Website says they ship from Canada.
I think the system works by all accounts. I’ve heard on the pod that some players have just skipped the training aids and have just done overspeed training as part of their practice. I’ve dabbled in this as I practice with a launch monitor and can say that alone will get you some speed.
I tried it after hearing about it on the pod and within one session I was averaging up a mph or two. I could see that if I did this regularly that it would would benefit me in the fight against old man speed.
A buddy had some super speed golf sticks that he was looking to offload, so I got those from him. I just downloaded the app (new app as of a week or so ago) and it looks really well made. I’m working on a diy retractable screen in my garage to get swinging this winter, really looking to getting started!
If anyone else is doing Superspeed, lmk
I had been leaning toward Stack because of the App, then saw Super Speed was coming out with the App, along with their new Ground Force Trainer…would love to get your feedback on the Super Speed App once you have used it for a bit.
Yea, I’m really curious to explore that as well. After the pod, I actually looked into getting the stack and selling the speed sticks that I already had. But I couldn’t quite justify the price difference to myself. I was very glad to see that The app was coming out! I’ll report back when I get started with that!
I bought the stack and radar a few weeks ago. I had been considering it for a while and after listening to that episode I pulled the trigger. I think it shipped from Caledon, ON. I ordered the stack and radar separately so that I could use 2 promo codes. Came to 760 CAD.
Here is my promo code: K2YYZ3PNONNOMGDUXZBNXHAKYJ73
Saves you $70 CAD on the hardware and gets me an extra year free on the app.
My baseline driver swing speed was a humbling 95 mph. Now 5 sessions into the foundation program and I am at 106. Also hit a drive 295 on a trackman simulator in my buddies sim league which is definitely a PB. It’s still new so the excitement might ware off but I’m looking forward to all my next workouts.
Thank you for the information. It shipping from Canada means no import fees so we like that.
I also have Golfer’s Journal discount which works on the hardware for 20% but not sure if an extra year in the app.
Appreciate it and for the idea, code and way to “stack” codes!
After a long self-mandated social media break, I decided to jump right back in with you hooligans.
Sup y’all.
Busy summer of relentless chirps and asking for Golf Advice. Also, generally being the fucking man.
Hey Duck Club gang.
@tniloc threw together a goal tracker spreadsheet for the Roost inspired by the annual NLU goals pod. Incase you aren’t in the WhatsApp group or missed it being shared there, I’m resharing it here if anyone else wants to join

Hey TDC,
I will be out east for a wedding this August and we are doing the bachelor “Party” at Cabot the week before. Besides Highland Links, I think we’re going to do PEI the weekend before. Any course/tourist recommendations in PEI? Probably only gonna be there for 48-72 hours
Regardless of if you are an infrastructure guy or not, Confederation Bridge is a pretty awesome feat of engineering.
What’s your plan for logistics? Driving or flying between your various stops?
