It is truly awful from an architectural design perspective. The conditions were fine, the price isn’t horrible but the golf product is not good in my opinion.
There is so little in the way of strategic value from tee to green. Bomb and gouge all day long, gets boring really quickly. For the most part the greens have minimal contouring and slopes as well (there are some exceptions, but they didnt do enough to keep the golfer engaged from start to finish). A worse version of Grand Niagara.
Say no more.

They’re new from the spring and I’ve played maybe 40 rounds with them. FULL DISCLOSURE the 7 iron has a small mark on the toe from playing a ball off some moss that has a rock underneath it (oops). All pictures including said mark:

I’ve been following NLU for the better part of 3 years and finally made the right decision to become a Nest member. I am located in Hamilton, Ontario and am always looking for more playing partners who love the game as much as I do. We have lots of folks in KW / area, the Buffalo crew are now encroaching, and have crews from Windsor all the way to QC.
@BigtimePolecat our Roost Captain will be working on schedules here soon I think. We do lots of quota game stuff through the season for Roost qualifiers, and our main event - The Tussle - is Canada’s premier golf tournament. Rumours that Rors and the RBC squad will be there next year are as-yet unfounded.
