It means nothing…

Can I come?

Love it if you would! We’ve been hanging out for MvG’s potential trip plans before we booked anything… if that doesn’t happen, I wanna play Sagebrush / Talking Rock / Tobiano at the very least.

I’ll be scouting Tobiano with the @MayhemGC crew in May! Sagebrush and Talking Rock are also totally on the list of must plays!

Not sure if you’re still soliciting opinions but I gotta put in a word for the Harvest. Unbelievable views, cool setting amongst an active orchard, in great shape (every time I’ve played it anyway). It’s a unique spot and a fair/fun test.

The wait is over, I finally have our BC cabin schedule.

I will be in Salmon Arm from July 15-23 (Give or take a day on either end depending on flight schedules). Sagebrush, Tobiano, Talking Rock (again), are all in play. The only stipulation is that mid-week will typically work best for me while out there

If this is better to chat about in the BC or Alberta thread, we can move over there as well

Hahaha ah fuck, I’m 99% certain I’ll be away.

Reach out to sagebrush early… apparently they are booking up quickly as the secret is out. Also, price tag is likely $250+ for golf only…

So, I’m going to do some work on this over the weekend. Already have people in and around town the first two weeks of July. My folks are supposed to come mid-July and then we’re going away with them, but it isn’t locked - it’s still tentative.

I’ll see if I can push them back a little further - tell them Stampede sucks and they should skip it…

I’ll report back by Monday on whether I can swing a couple days.

I was able to book my group into Sagebrush in mid-September. I did that a month ago, and even then, they said days were already booking up. I can completely understand, place looks like the sweetens cove of Canada

Wow, sagebrush looks pretty. So I plunk down $500 for a place to sleep, and potentially a couple of rounds of golf are included? Do I have that right?

The offsite unlimited price isn’t really terrible either, big dollars but if you’re doing it right, that’s 36 holes, lunch, and some extras included which is probably same same at most other high end spots nearby.

ATTENTION all those interested in Scotland 2024.
A small group of us met to discuss some logistics. We have a group of 4 at this moment but wanted to continue to make this an open process for others to join in.

Dates we are considering: June 2-9, 2024 OR June 9-16, 2024

We came up with a rough itinerary of:
East Lothian:
Day 1: Arrival - Kilspindie (optional)
Day 2: Gullane 1 and 2
Day 3: North Berwick

Fife:
Day 4: Leven Links
Day 5: Crail and Elie
Day 6: Old Course at St. Andrews
Day 7: Departure - Some golf if you stick around or have a late flight

We are going to start booking things in April ish when bookings open for North Berwick. Let us know if you are interested.

Cheers!

This itinerary got me very pumped.

Just tagging those that signed to the Google sheets some time back as potentially interested - apologies if you already said you’re definitely out above…

That looks amazing! So long as it is June 9-16, @pinepocky and I are almost certainly in!
(our Facutly meetings at the end of year won’t end until June 1 that year, so the earlier dates wouldn’t work)

Sorry for the lack of attention at this end. I coach Varsity Wrestling in the winter, and this year it’s my school’s turn to host the league tournament (2 weeks from now) so my brain is mush and my attention span is that of a gnat.

Yes I’m very interested!

Good stuff. We’ll bring you guis into the fold on the planning. Looking like 9th-16th of June might be the dates to zero in on. Days will be long in Scotland!

Size Queen….

This looks dope! I, unfortunately, cannot make it. If anyone was interested in adding in a round to this itinerary (certainly not necessary) I would suggest Dunbar in East Lothian or Anstruther (9 holes) in Fife. That, or Panmure if you have time for a bit of a drive north of St. Andrews.

……Scotland…chugging?

I dunno.

But whatever it is, I want in!

(That’s what they said :smirk:)
