Things are looking promising for edmonton. We have a range open already in the city and another open if you want to drive a little.

Golf season is upon us very soon for this part of the prairies. So pumped.

I just spent a lovely March week in Victoria and I’m ready to drink the cool aid.

Most Ottawa courses sadly don’t open until May. We have it lucky in southern ontario

I think I’ll be happy if we open before May long weekend in Northern Ontario

Same here in Northern Québec. But there is a lot of rain coming this week. Hopefully that can melt a good portion of the snow left and make late April a possibility

My car took a good week to crap out, nothing around the KW area is opening till the 8th or 15th, but I’m hankering to set up a round with some fellow Quacks.

Has anyone travelled to the US recently using proof of recovery from COVID rather than a negative test? And if so did they use a telehealth provider for the recovery letter?

There is no longer testing requirements for travel to the US as of April 1, however you must be vaccinated.

https://ca.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information-canada-3/

That’s for entry into Canada, not into the US. Second paragraph of your link:

All airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older, regardless of vaccination status or citizenship, must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within one calendar day of travel. Alternatively, travelers to the United States may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel.

oops my apologies. Didnt know they required a test, thought it was just proof of vaccination and got myself mixed up reading that as entry/exit requirements for the USA not into Canada.

No worries. Seems like a silly requirement at this stage but it is what it is I suppose. Just find myself in a bind now as I’ve had COVID and should be able to enter with my positive PCR result + what is effectively a doctor’s note… only for my family doctor to be on vacation and not back until after our flight would leave, so now looking into other options.
