I dunno. I signed up the spreadsheet thinking there might be subregional Canadian zones of a roost. Didn’t see Mayhem coming. I mean no offence to Mr. @TBagg, no offence to anyone, but this doesn’t really seem “of the Refuge”. I mean are all your buddies going to join the nest and participate in community? The concept of a BC roost (exclusive of others?) wasn’t even brought up here. Anyway, out I guess.

All Canadians are welcome in the Duck Club! Seems like most of the competitions will be done somewhat virtually anyway, so any level of participation would be great. And then things can grow from there.
I just hope our BC friends get their voices heard instead of just being absorbed into something different.

I was kind of shocked at first that BC wasn’t paired into the Northwest Region with us in the PNW Crew. It also makes a lot of sense to pair Toronto with Detroit, etc. But the COVID and border issues make a lot of sense. If it was just for Canadian representation, I think being geographicly close should be more important than that. I mean, I’m assuming no one wants to decide the regional team based on the remote/digital golfing thing if it wasn’t necessary. And meeting up in the middle by getting on a 2-2.5 hour flight for yall doesn’t seem fair either, IMO.
I already mentioned to Ben that in 2023 and on that I think Canada should get paired with geography in mind. Curious to hear what yall think

In all seriousness, we talked about it a lot and really want Canada to send a team. PINZ will allow you to play virtual matches if an in person regional isn’t workable.
We had a few posts in the WNY thread about where to play, since we didn’t get a roost of our own. We have a small contingent of about 14 nesticles around the BUFF/ROCH area but with the border issues and COVID not going away any time soon, pairing up with the Toronto crew might be cumbersome. Logistically, it makes sense, if yall would have us.

I think in a perfect world, some cross border battling would be great. Who knows what things are like this summer, but I have to imagine our group would be interested.
