I was just going to come back in here to say a lot of what you’ve said. I have no problem paying that fee if its being invested back in to the course and facilities that I will actually use.

I am playing #2 next weekend for the first time since the reno and have played the rest except #4. I’ll rank em after that.

I need to get around #4 again. When we played it it was late June and it played soft and slow. Hadn’t rained for a week, so it was just perplexing how poor the conditions were compared to 2 and 8 on property and mid Pines off.

I think if the turf conditions were more representative I’d have liked it more.

They were all great. They each had different strengths as golf courses. Leaving aside price, there is no way I would have the Ocean Course in last place.

What’s up South Carolina crew. I’m coming down to Augusta next week and I have one evening free. I don’t even think there will be time for golf. Are there any must-try restaurants/bars/breweries/anything else for my little trip I should try? I’ll be flying into Augusta regional and I’m not even sure I’ll have a car

We have 2 breweries in downtown Augusta, Riverwatch Brewery and Savannah River brewing Co. Both are about what you expect out of a brewery plenty of craft beer. As for food Whiskey bar is one of my favorites to grab a burger at, Sole Augusta has a wide array of food and beverages. Depending on the night I could meet you somewhere downtown if that’s of interest to ya.

Hey all! Just moved to the Greenville area from Chicago so that I can golf year round. Got paired up at Furman with a few guys meeting up from this group. Had a great time and was recommended to check this out. Awesome to see a growing golf community and look forward to playing with you all at some point. Cheers!
