I really enjoy Furman. Played it a few years in a row growing up in junior tournaments and always remembered it fondly. 15 years elapsed between my last visit and the BMW event and I was glad to see the course in even better shape and a recent renovation that added more nuance to the green complexes and run-off areas. It’s definitely a “what you see is what you get” style course, but it is structurally solid and offers some good variety with the par threes. The par fives are definitely pushovers. Among the best college courses I’ve ever played - you’re lucky to have it down the street!

Nice. I play out of Holly Tree.

Great. Have to try and get together for a game then sometime. Message me at some point and maybe figure something out.

In Columbia. Relatively new to the area and looking for a group or league to play with. If anyone knows of any let me know.

My parents and I moved to SC from Colorado in 2015. We’re based an hour away from Greenville. Frequent visits are made to Cobbs Glen, Boscobel, The Walker Course, and Arrowhead Pointe.

second Stoney. Would make the 45min trek from PC to play there since it was difficult to get on Musgrove.

Yeah, I’ve been in the area for 3 years now. Typically play cobblestone or northwoods. Have been thinking about joining a club but waiting for the right time.

Give Columbia CC a look. I want to say if you join now, you don’t pay dues until June.

I’m in Greer. No membership but play most of my rounds out of Willow Creek. Although I’m always looking for new courses to play. Grew up between Florence and Myrtle Beach and went to school at Furman. Still try to get out that way to play every now and then. A former “good” golfer. Play off a 9 handicap now.

Looking forward to hopefully meeting/playing some golf with fellow SC NLU’ers in the future!
