Appreciate it. I think he’s just going to hustle and hope he has enough time to check his clubs and make the flight.
Bring the clubs is usually the move. I’d be surprised if they don’t have left hand rentals, there are many sets in the clubhouse. Holla if you need more help looking into this and I’ll see what I can do.
I remembered to ask today and they said they have three or four lefty sets of rental clubs at the Muni. They look to be fairly recent vintage Wilson loaners. Government mule stuff.
Anyone going to the Myrtle Beach Classic this week? I have to work all week so unfortuantely won’t be able to do any ambush marketing for NLU out there.
Going Saturday to see what’s what
Has anyone played Pawleys Plantation, Willbrook, Tradition, or River Club lately?
Wondering what the conditions are like right now.
Second @smullen09 question above about Pawleys. Also, how are conditions at true blue and Caledonia? Have a nice little weekend planned next week.
Was paired with guys today who just played. Said the greens were ok but some spotty at Caledonia. Didn’t mention TB greens but said they loved it.
Any read on reserve club? The couple times I’ve been there it’s been fantastic.
Unfortunately not. My MB resume isn’t deep. Had four times scheduled this week and canceled one. I’m not the sicko I thought I was
Hey all - not in SC but I am going to be in Myrtle Beach the beginning of June for a guys trip.
Curious if anyone would have course recommendations for a mix of good golfers and some hackers? Anything helps, thanks.
What’s your budget?
Just played Grande Dunes and Pine Lakes which were pretty good. Also, played Dye Club at Barefoot, but thought it was overpriced for the conditions.
True Blue is always a highlight. Caledonia too but they’ve had greens condition issues that I cannot speak to.
We hosted an event earlier this year at Legends (Heathland) and I thought it was a very solid track. Pretty forgiving off the tee and some good birdie opportunities for a wide range of golfers IMO.
Willing to spend a bit for a good experience but we have non golfers (fishers of the group) so don’t want to make them spend too much.
The easy and probably least expensive way to go is to stay/play the Legends courses
Caledonia claims to double as a fish camp but I’ve not tested this beyond their fish stew shack. Might help your fishy buds.
Come goof off with the fellas, while we play along the Savannah River. Got the course to ourselves for the day!

having to click on the link to find the date…you PCC guis are better than that.
I Played a PAT at this course a 100 years ago. As I recall its actually pretty great.
Grandparents are taking the kids on a cruise next week so I’m trying to get as many rounds in as possible (preferably walking to prep for TF). I booked 1 time Wild Dunes Harbor 5/25 1pm and there’s still a spot open if anyone wants to join. Golfnow had it as a hot deal so it seemed worth it.
Plus, looking to get on somewhere 2 or so more times that week (27th-1st) if anyone wants to conspire to play those days!
Hi, friends. New to the forums and unsure of the decorum…but moved to Greenville about three years ago and getting back into playing after ankle surgery about a year and a half ago. Wondering about the best way to get involved.
