Ahh. Ok. Well, the Valero Texas open or Bowling May be on…
Lexington CC, Columbia CC or Camden are all better options than cobblestone.
Dinner seems to have you covered. Go downtown and eat.
Called Lexington (assuming this is the same as CC of Lexington vs. Lexington CC) and scheduled no problem for Sunday afternoon
Thanks Luke
Same place.
Just a hint, don’t hit a ball with a push draw on 18.
CCL is a good course, but 18 deserves a spot on the yuck club’s list.
Does a heel-y pull cut work? That’s more my style
If you aim up the right tree line and hit a heel-cut you might stay dry.
The best players I play with there just aim 30 yards into the trees and try to nuke it over it all.
(It’s a bit of hyperbole, but a hidden lake at 240 on a par 5 is dumb)
i mean its not hidden its right there in front of you!
Just gotta find some speed and hit it over the trees.
They even have a flag to mark the edge of the lake!
I stand by my comments. The lake sucks.
My hatred stems from bogeying eighteen in a tournament “playing smart” hitting hybrid off the tee that chased (late summer) down the left and rolled into the pond.
Alright, shamelessly asking for more advice
Waking up in Greenville on Sunday AM, now have a time at CCL at 2pm on Sunday (sounds like we can push this back without much issue)
Furman early? Seems like the wrong way to travel to be in Lex later?
CC of Newberry? Chew up some of the drive down to Lexington
Still open to an early Musgrove too, if someone willing to host
Worth a call in to Greenville CC? or Riverside?
Thanks again
Doesn’t the Haas family operate a par three in Greenville?
No, they operate the driving range. Par 3 is separate.
Either of Greenville CC’s courses would be worth a call (Chanticleer and Riverside). Those are your best Gvl options.
That was a hard no, fully private
@miketerps08 any chance you can call and get these guys on Musgrove unaccompanied?
Lol, that’s crazy. Shrink the game.
The disrespect to Holly Tree!
