Bridge Brigade isn’t bad. Not a big fan of “bogeys” as that just sounds like bad golfers. 
Why not Birdies N’at if you’re going that route (not that I like that route, but I’m like 3/5 of a vote here).

Arnie stuff might be legally murky territory. “Arnie’s Army” might be trademarked, etc.
Love incorporating the bridges or three rivers, feel like that’s an instant get for non-yinzers as well. If we narrow it down to a couple of options I can ask our golf creative team here at work if they can throw together some logo options for us.
I would vote a hard no for Arnie’s Army. I hate that song and it’s now stuck in my head again haha.

Three Rivers Roost is a fantastic idea and would make for some nice logos.
I agree with nixing anything with Arnie in the name. He’s already got an airport named after him so I don’t think he’ll mind if we don’t use his name for our hyper niche, online club.
I think we’ve got some very solid name options already so let’s compile the best ones and then we can vote. So far it seems like the three contenders are:
Strappalachia
Three Rivers Roost
Birdies/Bogeys N’at
Keep the suggestions coming but I think we might have to submit the application soonish.
Is it a Pittsburgh Roost or a “western PA” roost? I’ve lived here in Erie most of my life and “n’at” isn’t really a thing up here. Neither is “yinz.” It’s pretty specific to Pittsburgh.
I don’t love “Strappalachia” but one of the pros for it is that it’s not Pittsburgh-only or Pittsburgh-specific.
P.S. “Bridges” is Pittsburgh specific, and I suggested that too, but it feels slightly less so than a super-regional dialect. 
I would love for it to be a regional roost as it hopefully means the most participation, Pittsburgh’s just the metro area that ties us together. Personally, I’ll vote for whatever name sounds the coolest and the one I can imagine having the best logo.

I’d be interested in captain to make sure we can have a roost this year I just want to get an idea of the time commitment and whatnot first just to ensure I don’t drop the ball. Trying to touch base with a couple captains from this past year to get an idea, probably double bogey dave as well.
Let me know what you find out. I’d be happy to help with coordination/other captains duties.
Three Rivers Roost is definitely a top contender. I think we may need to just run with that based on what I’m reading above.
I’m also up for being captain unless @BTonk3 or @CMUgol4 absolutely want to do it. I’ve got the time to do it and already got approval from management (aka the wife). So I’m happy to be the figure head but will rely on some of you more seasoned players for actual tournament formatting and planning.
I’m way too invested in what you all call yourselves. Just need to know what the name is for when the shit talking starts.
By all means, go for it. Definitely count me in as one of your assistant captains to help out however I can.
