I bought tickets for Friday. Looking forward to it! I definitely recommend stopping at Oakmont Bakery for breakfast if you can get in the door.
Long shot here boys, but Iām out of options. Buddy of mine is playing Erie Am at Lakeview in August. Iāve been trying to get us on for a practice round or to at least walk the course before the event, but my network doesnāt include any members or even know any members.
Do any of you happen to be a member or know a member that wouldnāt mind helping us get on for a round or even a walk around the course?
Damn. Sunday is the only day Iām not available due to a family picnic. I went the the one in Pinehurst a couple years ago and it was a blast.
youāre dead to me
What do we think makes match play at Oakmont? 154ish for a playoff?
Iāve never been to an AM before, but I think Iād want to go to the stroke play day hoping to catch a sick 10 for 8 or something like that.
Iām a member out at Lake View and would be happy to have you out. Shoot me a message and weāll get it set up.
Loveeeee the Oakmont bakery. Place is so money, hopefully everyone stops by for some sweets.
Was there today and Monday.
I have 2 spots open for Sunday September 12 at 8am at Sleepy Hollow GC in Brecksville OH.
I booked a block of times for next Saturday 10/2 at Manakiki in Willoughby, OH. Easy drive from Western PA and in my opinion worth it. This is a couple days before they punch their greens so they should be at their Donald Rossiest. Link to the signup is below.
What time are the tee times?
9:10-9:40
Bringing this thread back to life. Long time lurker, first time poster. Lived in Penn Hills all my life and just joined Hill Crest CC in Lower Burrell this year.
I have 11/11 off and the weather is looking pretty decent. Anyone up to play?
Ah, Iām going to get out next week too but not available on 11/11, sorry!
What day? Tuesday looking good and I could probably flex my holiday
I heard itās a great course, 9 and 18 I have heard a ton about, both good and bad. I am a member at Latrobe Elks, let me know if you would ever want to come play. Hit em straight!
Yeah 9and 18 are definitely talking points. Straight up hill par 3ās that feel a little forced. The rest of the course though plays tough but fair. We gotta get you out there one day to judge it for yourself.
I havenāt tried the Latrobe elks, but played the Apollo elks this year for the first time. Fun track!
Def!! Our elks is a great
Course! Always in great shape! Small and fast greens!!
Hope some of you are making it out today. Weather supposed to be gorgeous. Unfortunately I got forced OT at work so my days pretty much ruined
