Uptown slaps.

Food.
Santo Arcadia - Upscale Mexican that is supremely special. One of mine and my partners top spots.
Gallo Blanco - More of casual delicious Mexican spot. The Al pastor and the pork belly tacos are divine.
Rokerji- Steakhouse with some really good sides.
Hana - bomb Japanese
Persepshen - Farm to Table. Best spot in town.
Sushi Friend - Hole in wall sushi. Best I’ve had.
Buck and Rider - Only traditional seafood I’d recommend in Arizona (shoutout Wiz)

Bars.
Meckanzies Midtown. My personal favorite. Extremely good wings. Best fries in down. Will have the games on and have the sound.
Wilderness - local brewery with a great patio. Excellent food. Beers are solid but nothing that you should go out of your way for.
Harvey’s Wineburger - Dive bar with Greta burgers
Linger Longer Lounge - Dive with excellent hipster vibes.

If you are looking for another more specific reach out and I can give them or if you got questions on a place.

I’m sorry for your loss.

I am not too up on Glendale.
The historic downtown has been good the couple times I’ve been there.
Little Saigon is good
Haus Murphys gets rave reviews.
Tacos Calafia are some of my favorite.

I’d stay away from Westgate (The Cardinals stadium) lots of below average chain stuff.

Your best bet is to head up towards Peoria and Northern Phoenix imo.

Feel free to reach out as well.

Restaurants
Papa Paul’s Pizzeria - right across from the course. Really solid pasta and salads.
Royal Jasmine Thai - probably the best Thai on the west side.
Akai Hana - above average sushi. Only one I’d really recommend in that area.
Tempo - Up in Verrado. Used to beat it up back in the day. Good burgers and specials.
Bootys. - technically in buckye. Sports bar with a massive wing sauce selection. Always on point.

Stay away from Lazy Palms and Pueblo by the Wigwam. Very average but nice patios.

Bars
Transplant Beer Company - Taproom that should have a good vibe when the weather is nice.
The Stillery - never been. But people at work like it for the live music and country vibes.
Saddle Mountain Brewery - really interesting selection of beer. Okay to solid food options.

Litchfield/Goodyear is the land of chain hell. But some good options once you sift through it all.

Stay away from Dysart that road was built to kill people with its traffic. It’s like the worst intersection in the state.

Same as the others if you got specifics ask here or dm me.

Is this the same owners as the buck and Ryder in Gilbert? I guess I could google that one

Thanks mate, much appreciated!

I’d assume so. The one in Arcadia is the OG location. But same vibe and menu.

Dammit it looks like a hellscape online - conference coming up down there near the Westgate.

To add insult to injury it moved from Scottsdale.

Any preferences on days/courses? Easiest thing for me is 3/30 or 4/4, BUT I could also skip a day at the conference if I needed to.

3/30 is probably the cleanest for me but I can seeing both more than likely.

I’ll slide in the DM’s.

Looking for one to fill in @ Aguila tomorrow. 9:24am. Let me know!

Fellas! Going to be in Mesa in February visiting the mother-in-law. Would love recommendations on great restaurants, reasonable golf and things to do with toddlers. Thanks in advance!

Saying hi on roll call! Just joined.
