Roll call: Phoenix/Scottsdale

I’m a simple man. Don’t live places where some of the greatest “Cops” footage was filmed.

You live in Kansas

It sucks too. Just not a methy crime filled kind of hell.

In all seriousness October is a perfect az month. I don’t know what you like for outdoor stuff but the botanical gardens is cool to check out, tons of hikes from easy to tougher. Obviously the golf. Don’t ask me too much about the bar scene outside of mill for the college kids or old town Scottsdale for the bachelor parties. ASU should have a home game one of those weekends etc

Did you miss the overseed discussion? That’s the whole reason I mentioned ABQ.

There will be some options worth playing if you’re willing to drive and be flexible

Casa Grande is basically Alberta South these days (with a healthy dose of local gangs mixed in). It’s not 2010 with a weak US dollar anymore for our overly polite neighbors to the North. But Lil Sombreros is damn good.

They make 1 show (checks notes)…2 shows about Meth in ABQ, and you get a reputation.

Botanical garden is cool. Not big on hiking.

Where do I go hunt cougars?

I heard…from my former department head and current department head. They are both proud Calgarians.

It’s all within the funnel, right?

Downtown Gilbert is trying to be a replica of Nashville and has a high ratio of divorcees, cougars, and HPV. Some of the restaurants are pretty good too.

Barbara! There’s two shows about drug dealers and tons of Cops footage from that city!

You’ll be fine on golf, I agree just stay flexible and prepare to spend some change for potentially weird conditions. Arcadia is a fun neighborhood to be if you are staying for a while. Anything around Talking Stick is good too, and it’s a pretty straight shot down the freeway to Dobson. There’s also a new Pop Stroke there which is sick. I’m gone for NIT but here until the 21st so happy to guide w @Jpop942

Good call on Talking Stick. Anything around a major highway like the 101 that is close to good golf and food is a win.

Wouldn’t recommend @3puttking to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge there unless this is pure sabotage on our behalf to prop up our Tumbleweed NIT qualifier. Being walking distance to Pop Stroke isn’t worth the actual stroke being in that place for more than 24 hours causes.

Will also volunteer as tribute with @GeneralTSo and @Jpop942 to be a sherpa anywhere you need @3PuttKing. October golf feels so far away from today’s 108 with 50 percent humidity/3rd level of Dante’s Inferno.

The monsoon feels so good when it’s raining. Then the next morning hits and fuuuuuuuu

If that is the plan we need to send @3PuttKing to Great Wolf then take him to Medieval Times and absolutely drown him in ale and turkey legs right before the NIT

Worst of both worlds. We are in hell.

It may not work. I went from Cancun to NIT last year and won.

Did Cancun have hundreds of families with young children and a wolf that howls every 15 minutes (followed by kids screaming) to let you know the waves are starting in the wave pool? It’s not the hangover but the CIA style of torture that the Great Wolf Lodge provides.
