Hey @Bennybunker how often are you able to get out and play?
Reason I ask is because we’re in the midst of a summer long Quota game, would just need you to make up a GCU round ASAP and then our course for the month of June is Longbow in Mesa. We have a small meetup planned around 4 tee times on 6/6, if you can make it…would love to have you a part of the game regardless
Are you living up near the course for the summer? Lots of good golf on the N side, but all scattered about for sure
Must see (IMHO): We Ko Pa (Saguaro, but both good), Talking Stick (O’odham), Southern Dunes (a bit of a hike, but worth the trip)…and now that summer is coming (seems like rates are dropping in the next week or so) you can play the likes of Troon, Grayhawk, Boulders, and so on and not feel completely robbed from a price standpoint

I’m dense and didn’t realize the 6th was on Sunday. I am unable to make it that day this week. To that end, I reserved a 4some Saturday @ 11am. If anyone else is dense like me, let me know and maybe we can get out a day early.

I can get out on Sundays only pretty much, unless I want to drive from work to the course. Which is not optimal as building golf is not as clean a thing to do as playing golf, but depends on the day and if the course has showers.
I am living up in by the course. So your right my neighborhood is pretty stacked. I have plans to play or walk We Ko Pa(36), Talking Stick (36), Apache Stronghold, Mountain Shadows, Desert Forest, Phoenix CC and Papago. I will be trying to sneak on as many places to walk and study as well. I have been told to see TPC Scottsdale, Greyhawk, Estancia, Troon North, Whisper Rock, but I don’t know if they are worth the hassle as the images I have seen make them all seem pretty similar.

You will have a good summer of Saturday’s for sure. After working on the course all day, I’m sure it’ll be a tough sell to go play golf the remainder of the afternoon haha, it’s hot. If you ever find an extra day off or do want to play in the afternoon, post up here. I will be playing some weekdays afternoons, and would be happy to have you at Moon Valley CC one day.
For sure, I will hit you up for a game at least once this summer. Always fun to check out new spots.
I can’t wait to see Stronghold. I have talked with a few people involved with the build it seems really cool. Hopefully the years of neglect haven’t taken it’s toll. Last time I heard about it people were not very complementary of the management, but I look at the bones anyway. So hopefully there is enough grass to hit shots.
Desert Forest is so good. The original desert golf course and still the king.

Sorry that I will not be able to make the group outing at Longbow on Sunday.
However, I am booked to play there Friday morning at 9:30. There are two more spots available if anyone wants to join me and @Daler75. (Not booked but there was a 4somone available and I only booked two.)

Excited to see the numbers posted this weekend. This weekend is terrible for me and I’ll be heading out next week.
I’m pretty open to sneaking out there pretty much any day next week if anyone needs a playing partner.
Cancelled the 7:30a tee time, we are set for Sunday, June 6th at Longbow, 7:40a / 7:50a / 8:00a for $49. Left one spot open for now for any late commits out there.

Anybody interested in rounding out a fourball with a little action on top of the quota game? Can play some wolf (hammer) (although I wouldn’t know much about scoring), some team best ball, or a scotch game?
