Play the tees you normally play, and just make sure your CH is calculated from that set of fees. Seems easier than forcing a set of tees for everybody

Do you use net scoring for quota? Ie, if I’m popping on a hole and get par it’s actually a net birdie and I get 4 points…
No, the quota itself factors in your handicap and so it’s that that levels the field.

To elaborate more…your 8.5 calculates to a 10 at GCU (from the tips in this exercise)
Your quota for the round will be 26
Get to 26+ however you can. Best part is double max.
Scoring will be done as a +/- of your personal quota. Let’s say yours is 26 and you score 27 (+1) and mine is 32 but I score 30 (-2) you’ve got me by 3.

Got it, this helps. I’m really looking forward to meeting some folks at Longbow. Other than my friend I’ve known for years we’ve never run in to anyone else that knows about NLU, or at least no one has ever said anything so this will be tons of fun

So as I mentioned I’ve been playing for less than a year so might hold off on joining for now. I don’t have an official handicap but I’d estimate I was a 30. I checked the spreadsheet and it looks like you’re a bunch of good golfers! Guess it’s all relative when you scrapping to break 100 though lol. I did look over the quota rules and it does seem to be pretty friendly to someone like me, so maybe I’ll have to give it a go!

Hey guys, I’m going to be coming to Phoenix from May 10-15 for “work.” Any courses I should hit up? I will have all afternoons free to go golfing.
Where in the valley will you be staying/“working”?
And do you have a price range?

Are there still two spots open for the gcu date? Is anyone else here planing a make up date if they can’t make the 15th?
There are spots, and I know someone up thread asked looking for others to play but I think it was a weekday before the 15th
