As long as he doesn’t try a “g’day mate”. Have yet to hear a convincing one from an American. My wife ESPECIALLY included.

I have a spare set of irons but a) they are an inch or so extended and b) the PW is bent after an ill-conceived punchout shot right next to a tree trunk…
Played El Caballo y’day, always a fun time. If you are in control of your ball off the tee you can score as it’s not overly long, but if you get out of position it can really eat your lunch, and some of the greens are diabolical. Played a very low key match against a mate and threw mulitiple holes away, as I SUCK at matchplay. Managed to make 5 on the Par-5 14th hole which may well be the dumbest/hardest fucking hole in WA though. Absolutely nowhere to miss.

My vanity cap hurts me. As does my very erratic driver, questionable course management, and the short game that is usually okay seems to go walkabouts whenever it’s “you have three shots to win from the fringe” 
You well know the non-existent state of my game at the moment so I’ve no doubt I’ll be buying the beers more often than not in a couple of months!

Haha, don’t you start. As a lad from the central/lower North Island, Tui was my local beer. We left the Speights for the southerners.
Being that I have moved past Tui and am now an obnoxious early-middle-ager who takes expensive golf trips, I cannot wait to get stuck into the Melbourne craft beer scene.

No plans for Barnbougle as yet, but it’s very much on the list. May hold off on it until 7 Mile Beach is finished and try get STEEP on a Tassie golf trip.
@chairman is heading over in December though I believe. No idea if he even logs in here any longer, but hopefully he sees this and can hit you up.
I will be getting my mail sent to 7 mile beach from the opening day, so I will obviously see you there. The end of 2023 can’t come soon enough!
