Roll Call: Orlando, FL Golfers

Just returned from 4 days in tourist Orlando and thanks to everyone who provided recommendations.

Championsgate CC - a ton of fun and good conditions. Don’t love driving miles between holes through housing developments but aside from that it was good. Grade B

Southern Dunes - conditions were great, holes were a lot of fun. Greens were a bit tricky. A-

Falcons Fire - woof. The glory days are way in the past. Rough ROUGH conditions. C-

Reggianos - great spot for dinner for a big group. Solid Italian. B+

El Patron - spectacular mexican cuisine. The mexican stew (forget what its actual name was) best thing ive had this year. Super simple and tasty. It was reminiscent of my nanas irish stew but with mexican ingredients. Pork Belly and Barbacoa tacos also fantastic. A

Hello OJ crew - I’m going to be in Orlando next week for a work event at Disney, but getting in early Monday to play before events start up monday evening.

I typically go to Shingle Creek or OCN to get a round in, I’ve played the grand cypress courses before as well. Champions Gate looks like a good bet, but not sure I want to travel that far out.

Ay other reccos or anyone interested in joining midday Monday 4/7?

The Disney Magnolia course just finished a renovation and is supposed to be good. Can’t go wrong with OCN either.

Yea I would play champions gate CC, if you’re able and want to try something new. Can’t speak to current conditions but the layout was one of my favorite nearish Disney.

this might work out, we’ve got rounds at Palm and BV courses the other days and maybe I can checkin early to Coronado. And thank you @ManufacturingTapIn i’ll be flipping a coin between these two options

Oh hell yes. You thought FL can be intimidating with the likes of The Island Green, The Snake Pit, The Bear Trap, Blue Monster? Now prepare for….

How soft is the 18th hole to not be included there?
