References to Winking Lizard and families is a reference I don’t understand. Goodness Joe!

Not relevent to Cleveland, only Cincinnati thus far, but '47 Brand has a line of hats called Vacation Hitch for half the MLB teams now, hopefully they’ll finish the job because I need a Cleveland one.

Pins Mechanical in Ohio City is awesome! Arcade for the kids and adults if having a drink, duck pin bowling and pinball

Love some good winking lizard hangouts. Did a skeeball league at the macedonia location several years ago. Was so much fun

I’ve not been to the Ohio City spot yet but it looks dope. Miss the original 16 Bit in Lakewood, but glad they hooked up with Pins.

Now, if only we could find out what’s up with PINZ.

@quicktempo the white 47 rope hats are clean as hell. I keep wanting to pull the trigger on a Cavs one.

Forest City Shuffleboard was a great kid-friendly spot that we frequented a lot when we lived in Ohio City.

Underrated food spot, too. We would sometimes just go to eat…shuffleboard optional

Agree this place has it all. @theclv24 If you’re looking for museums don’t sleep on Oberlin Art Museum. It’s free and you’ll see Warhol, Picasso, Monet among tons of great very old old pieces.

Seriously?! That going on the to do list.

I know. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t gone in there til earlier this month. Amazing stuff at no cost in a really beautiful building.

If they do post it here. I’d like this.

First time this sentence has been said in human history but…

I’m not entirely surprised Oberlin has some serious juice in the art world

I actually believe it—Oberlin is in general a pretty sneaky relevant place we probably take for granted bc it’s so close. The campus is beautiful. And I’ve only ever driven through it on the way to course…which I freaking love.

It’s wild how often I’ll be checking out someone’s Wikipedia page and see they went to Oberlin. For example, this happened just last night with the musician Josh Ritter

I have kids the same age and would highly recommend the Cleveland Art Museum. It’s world class and free. There is a really cool interactive area for kids and the entire museum is enjoyable for kids and adults. They have great food in the museum atrium, but you also don’t want to miss nearby Little Italy. Not many bad meals in Little Italy, but I’d recommend Mama Santas (pizza) and Mia Bella.

Next to the art museum is the Natural History museum which is going through a renovation, but still worth a quick visit. You might be able to get free tickets through their extensive reciprocal program. They have some cool dinosaur stuff and an outdoor walking trail with a dozen or so animals where the kids can quickly get the “zoo” experience without actually going to the zoo. Cleveland zoo is solid, but too cold right now.

Near your hotel is Playhouse Square, which is the largest theater district outside NYC. Don’t think there are many shows this weekend, but still a decent area to walk around. You can also walk to East 4th street for several good restaurants (Mabel’s BBQ, Barrio tacos, Pickwick, Butcher and Brewer) and Corner alley for bowling.

Ohio City is a 5 minute drive over the river and has Pins (duckpin bowling) and several good restaurants. Avo is great for Mexican, Great Lakes Brewery is a Cleveland landmark with good beer and solid food, and Mitchell’s has the best ice cream in Ohio (I’ve tried them all).
