I did a trip down there last year and really enjoyed Stonelick Hills. A bit outside of town though, iir.

Zoar isn’t too bad. Just a bit bland. But decent, solid. I asked about it and played it for the first time earlier this summer.

15 minute drive to GABP from where you’re staying? I assume that means you’re staying in the Norwood, Hyde Park or Oakley area?
I won’t echo the options others have already said, as they’re all great. I’d also add Blue Ash Golf Course to the list. It’s my second favorite public course in the city behind Stonelick, and assuming you’re in the Norwood or Oakley area, it’s only 10-15 minutes north.

Got out to play Westfield South in a NOGA net event yesteday. Results aside (net 73 wasn’t getting it done, but the skin was a nice consolation), I had a great time on the course. Absolute perfect conditioning. Rough was lush, greens were perfect, fairways were a little soft but there was rain the night before so they couldn’t mow everywhere I think.
The course does a great job screwing with your eye line, especially on par 3s. You really have to trust your number and commit. Spatial recognition was tough out there sometimes. Its really refreshing to hit putts and have them go exactly where you want them to though because the greens are just that pure. Can get in some gnarly spots without knowing exactly were to miss on a green though.
My playing partners told me about the renovation and that they didn’t like the course as much with the rebuild and tree removal, but without a comparison I was able to enjoy it fully. Also, I was the only one in the event to walk. With carts on the path I was not about to ride and have to hoof it across those fariways anyway, so I had to show out for PCM.

What NEO guys are going down to Cincy 4-Way? I know myself and @MDM are making the trip and was interested to see if anyone else was going and if so possibly coordinating a carpool/lodging consortium. We can’t swing the Sunday round but were also thinking about a Sat morning round before heading over to the LPGA tourney - suggestions welcome

I was so gutted to miss this. Hat tip for repping the PCM. I wish NOGA did more to promote walking. I imagine their hands are somewhat tied—the host clubs probably won’t allow them to cut walkers a price break. But, I think governing local associations should in general be pro-walking.

Playing Eaglesticks on Friday early at 7- Anyone been out this year? We both haven’t played it in 2 years.
Sloppy 40 on front. Made 2 mistakes but haven’t played golf since early June so I’ll use that excuse.

It came from other side from 130. Some of the bunkers were in bad shape, washed out it looked like but greens were running great. Well worth the 20 hot deal off of Golfnow.
