I’m in my offseason now so I’m willing to help with anything Roost-related as well.
I’ve pointed the Kentucky guys to the Ohio Roost sheet if they want to sign up. Just an FYI if we see several KY guys coming to the sheet.
Also, I have a lot of experience running tournaments (large and small) so am definitely willing to contribute here.
@jgolf1 First time sitting down this week to read through the crazy amount of posts since September!! Signed up, sounds legit!
I’ll allow it.
my personal ranking:
2 4 1
3 5 6
They look great. My personal rankings would be
4, 2, 6, 3, 5, 1
So Ben (merch squire) voted for 2,3,4…my wife voted for 3,4…and I love everyone
Love 3 and 4. Would definitely spend money on any.
Edit: more I look at #2 the more I like it.
So, serious question, relative to the popularity of the phrase……is that copyrighted or trademarked? To anyone’s knowledge?
I think I like 3 and 4 (first choice) the best if I were voting. Then something like 1.
There is a store based out of Cleveland which is what gives me a thought about not putting it on merch
More diligence than the Indians did (lol). 2 and 4 are awesome. Very correct about the embroidering considerations for simplicity.
That license place on a tour visor would be siiiick
Honestly, I dig all the logo options and would rock any of them…and think the event @Brick described sounds incredible. Even if we can only get one C-Suite day, piggy-backing that day with a day at a public (one of the more historic/interesting ones) would be awesome. Keep up the great work!
I know literally nothing about what generally looks good and what doesn’t design-wise but…
2 and 4 got my attention in a big way. Pride, almost? The Roost feels like we’re dipping toes into the water of something pretty meaningful.
1 gives me Detroit Pistons vibes… Shoutout Ron Artest
Appears to be trademarked OHIO AGAINST THE WORLD Trademark of JOHNSON, FLOYD - Registration Number 5096262 - Serial Number 86590909 :: Justia Trademarks
Doesn’t mean we can’t buy his stuff and support a small shop
Anyone want to get a round in today after 1? In town for work for the next few weeks
Wow - so many things popping off here
- Non-nest member, still no clue what a roost is but “have clubs will travel”, also “have young children and a wife, so that occasionally factors into the equation too”
- When I was a youth I worked at a screen printing place, I’m still close with the owners. If merch is being produced I know a guy and they are a Cleveland area small shop
- I don’t think my professional skill set is particularly applicable to this group, but if need be I make very complex spreadsheets, financial models, and data analytics/databases. Willing to offer up that skill set. I also “Excel” at missing short birdie putts
I don’t know if I can make today work but tomorrow afternoon is wide open for me.
Yea I should be free until the evening tomorrow, open to anyone else joining as well
