Will happily discuss on the golf course but cannot read it into the record here
Iām in.
Weāve had a very small group go a couple times, couple Pittsburgh guys and a couple from Cleveland. Iād say neither course is a must play. Theyāre not bad at all, justā¦fine. But weāve done both courses in a day, and the hang has been very solid. Good on-site grub, draft beers in a chilled glass hit perfect between rounds. Both are easy walks, and you get a great rate on the second 18 if you play 36. Weāve walked the first 18 then ridden the afternoon and itās been less than 70 bucks. If you have a fun group and want to make a day out of it, you could do much worse.
FYI - our Major will have two NIT spots available.
Also, our regional will be at Chariot Run - two day event.
Apologies, but can someone refresh my memory on how the Regionals and that whole shabang works? Or point me to a place where I can read up on all of it?
Four top point earners from the major/participation in events/match play earn their way to regionals which will be in July/August. Thatās going to take place in Indiana/Lousiville area.
Whoever wins regionals goes to Sweetens in October for the RCC.
Do we know when/where the major will be?
Itāll be in Findlay at Sycamore Springs again. Working with them to confirm date.
I know I canāt appease everyone, but would do the 2nd, May 9th (Motherās Day weekend) or the 16th. Any thoughts?
Iām out of town 13th-23rd so would prefer 2nd or 9th. maybe a poll?
May is already tough enough for a lot of us to have our game in decent shape, so Iād vote for as late as possible.
Im leaning toward the 16th. That way anyone could go play Napoleon on the 17th.
Nevermind, Iām an idiot and should look at a calendar
Same here, in Pinehurst May 14-17 (but donāt decide based on me please)
Iād probably lose my life (and maybe wife) if I tried to do anything Motherās Day weekend, but the 2nd or the 16th work for me.
If it makes any difference, thereās also the Golferās Journal event at Firestone happening on the 16th; not that the two are in direct competition (vastly different price point, as we all know). Just wanted to throw that out there.
TGJ at Firestone and NLU are only a comma and one digit apart on cost. Also, our drinks are cheaper .
I like the 16th but 2nd works as well.
I vote for the 2nd because I am almost certainly going to be in Chicago on the weekend of the 16th
9th or 16th for me
16th for me
