There are a few here I have yet to see however…

I see no changes necessary here. This is the way. I’m officially on board with Moraine being Tier 1…10-12 be damned. #10 green is criminally underrated.

I fall in love more and more every time I’m there. It belongs in the top tier, there’s no doubt in my mind.

I freaking love Moraine. I very much missed not getting to play the am qualifier there last year.

My only quibble would be to bump TGC up to tier 1.

I’ve also yet to see Scioto since the reno but it would’ve been tier 2 or 3 before that. Excited to give it another look someday.

I’ll be the first to raise my hand and say that I fired off some bad takes after the first go 'round or two at Moraine. The more I see it, the more wrong that first impression gets.

10 might be in the top 9 holes on that course.

11 green is so much better than it gets credit for too, so easy to make a double there and have no idea how.

That’s basically word-for-word what I did a few weeks ago.

Hit a mediocre chip above the hole, blow the first putt by, miss the longer than you’d like comebacker and tap in for double, seen it a hundred times.

Totally fair re TGC. A very cool place with some excellent golf holes. Not quite as complete a golf course as the others in tier 1 imho. Although it’s more subtle (from Pete Dye!) and one that for sure benefits from multiple rounds played there. But that’s the closest call.

Re Scioto, it has some characteristics that aren’t my favorite, but the greens are so good it’s an auto-top tier for me. Unbelievable. Best in Ohio (of what I’ve played).

I hated the green complexes at Scioto before the reno, probably some of the most penal and least fun I’ve ever played, so very intrigued.

Also always thought the routing on 2-7 was a little goofy but i would say that’s nitpicking.
