Shoutout Reid! You guys were $ that day!
For sure! If nothing else I can just hold on to them until you have the new address - for everyone else I think they will ship directly from H&B.
- Black iced coffee/cold brew. Nothing hits like a cold crisp Gatorade
- Havenât played enough alt shot to have an opinion
- 120
- At least 100
- 20
- I read the card
- Browns
- Hocking
- I donât drink soda
- Many times
- âThereâs nothing wrong with Ohio. Except the snow and the rain.â
- I gave up alcohol in 2020. But brew dogâs NA Elvis juice tastes pretty close to the real thing
Been a straight lurker as Iâm a little younger than the typical demographic, but here we go:
- high noon if anything
- The best for a second 18 on a 36 day
- 25 for an acceptable course. 240 (definitely more) for Moraine, Inverness, things of that nature.
- Internalization shouldnât count. Externally, 20-30.
-
- Personal accountability.
- Lurker. Uninitiated. Bad guy all around.
- Browns. Bengals minus the Bengals fans who insert themselves into every NFL discussion possible.
- Yellow Creek (I know itâs not a River, itâs all water flowing downhill)
- Hardly touch the stuff. Pop.
- I went to school in Ada OH.
- If we didnât have 3 months of bad weather we would lose 95% of small talk
- Rhinegheist Juicy Truth
- Coffee/Vitaminwater XXX
- Never played but am 100% in anytime
- 120
- 3
- 1
- New here
- Grew up a Browns fan through family, donât follow as close anymore (Soccer>)
- âThe River of Dreamsâ - Billy Joel
- Pop
- Love and Honor
- Built Different
- Brink was the bestâŚNAs for me now though
- Preferred during round/ after round beverage? Donât usually drink during a round but when I do itâs a KFC (Kettle One, Fresca, Cranberry). Otherwise Iâm a Gatorade gui.
- Alt shot - the best golf game or the best game full stop? Love alt shot. We should play it more often.
- Number of minutes it is acceptable to drive surrounded by farmland to get to the golf course? If itâs a great course and/or youâre playing with awesome people: no limit.
- Average number of four letter words per round directed at yourself? Four. Down from about 100 when I was younger.
- Average number of four letter words per round directed at the golf course? Zero
- What did you think this yearâs Nest gift was? (I have to be honest it took me about 4 seconds to figure it out) lame TBH
- Browns, Bengals, or Stillers? (I could not care less but I think many of you would) Bengals. Gotta pull for the home team. Happy to be a bandwagoner.
- Favorite river? (I donât know why) Hudson and Mississippi (tie)
- Soda or pop? Soda
- Have you ever gotten drunk in a cornfield? Other agriculture locations acceptable as is âwoodsâ yes if we are including a park in Tokyo
- Why do we have 8 months of the worst weather but 4 months of the best? I think itâs a little more balanced than that. The answer is because no place is perfect other than San Diego.
Iâm realizing more of you need to come to the Findlay event to play alt-shot. itâs genuinely the best way to play golf after âimportantâ golf in the morning
This sounds pretty tasty.
They are delicious
Bucket of KFC, KFC extra crispy (extra kettle one).
Primo hot weather golf cocktail
- A Fine Pilsner Beer
- Never actually played it, think it would be fun as a second round of the day.
- 34.5 minutes surrounded by farmland.
- 6.9
- I leave that to the professionals.
- Initially went straight to Rangefinder Pouch.
- Browns. Thereâs always next year. And at least we fail all the way. Bengals and Pittsburgh always get almost good and then fail.
- The Rocky River of course.
- I donât consume fizzy beverages, lest they be mixed with other things (or theyâre beer). So I abstain.
- Cornfield, no. Woods, absolutely. Camping drinking is always in excess.
- It truly hard to say. But I always get frustrated whenever family wants to go on a beach vacation in the summer. Why leave our home when the weather is the best?
- Preferred during round/ after round beverage? Domestics on the course, craft or cocktail apres
- Alt shot - the best golf game or the best game full stop? Alt shot whips, the world needs more of it
- Number of minutes it is acceptable to drive surrounded by farmland to get to the golf course? After two trips to Nebraska, the limit does not exist
- Average number of four letter words per round directed at yourself? Not sure, asshole is 7 letters
- Average number of four letter words per round directed at the golf course? Swearing at the course is gauche
- What did you think this yearâs Nest gift was? pass
- Browns, Bengals, or Stillers? Who dey
- Favorite river? Styx
- Soda or pop? Soda
- Have you ever gotten drunk in a cornfield? Negative, we drank in basements in high school
- Why do we have 8 months of the worst weather but 4 months of the best? Gotta keep the coastal elites out
- Best Ohio Beer? Loaded question. Big fan of the Brainfreeze cold IPA from Nine Giant, but for a regularly available beer, Iâll go with Voss from Sonder.
1.) Busch Light/ Water during - Draft IPA after
2.) Very enjoyable, especially when youâre mixing high/low handicappers.
3) Depending on the course quality for me. 2 hours is a good day trip amount.
4.) -/+ 18
5.) Only a few unless Iâm playing with the Super. Then Iâll make all of them even if theyâre not necessary.
6.) No clue lol
7.) None of above. GB for NFL - UC for College
8.) Ottawa
9.) Itâs only ever been pop to me.
10.) Absolutely
11.) I think we have better weather than 4 months. I played in March-November last year.

- The venerable Horseshoe sits on the banks of the Olentangy!
- Mostly Soda, Pop sometimes
- Probably when I was younger
- I think itâs more 6 on and 6 off
- Water/High Noon during and a nice, cold draft lager or IPA post round
- never played it
- 30
- Less than 5
-
- Maintain proper perspective
- Bengals
- Buck Creek

Sign up for one of the three best refuge events that takes place in northwest Ohio!
NW Ohio is becoming a hot bed of events. More than any of the big three cities can claim.
I played Napoleon Muni in November in a pissing rain and it was one of the most fun rounds, genuinely, I have EVER had.
So glad weâre running this event back this year. Having Napoleon (basically) to ourselves is sickkk. Thanks for coordinating, Conley!
Last year I really wanted to get a 9 hole course to ourselves, but I couldnât get any to respond to emails or filling out their Outing forms on their website. Thankfully, Joe suggested NGC,
and theyâve been awesome. Tom, the Super, called me one morning just to make sure the guy in charge of the booking had emailed me back (he did, right away), and we ended up just chatting for like 15 minutes about the event and golf stuff. Iâm really excited for this. He said heâd get the conditions dialed how we want them leading up to the event, put the pins where we want them, change holes for us during the day, basically anything we want. I think they feel like this is going to be a good way for them to try to get on the map a little more, and test out their ability to host events like this in the future.
