I looked at Croasdaile for a friend on Google Earth, and it looks like a really tight property, that has a lot of forced target shots to doglegs. Is it an optical illusion, or does it play around a the driving range in 90 degree turns?
I’d say that’s not generally true. There are a couple spots that might fit that description, but target golf and forced carries are not phrases I’d use to describe it. It’s definitely worth checking out. There’s a nice variety to the holes - I definitely don’t get bored playing most of my golf there. Big tees and big greens make it play different from day to day. For instance, the 2nd is a par 3 and I’ve hit wedge to 3 iron into to that green.
Whole network…Ballyhack looks phenomenal, hope to get up there when the weather gets warmer. You’ve played there?

Agree with this assessment for sure. They do a great job mixing up pin positions. And which tees you decide to play really changes your lines off the tee. Great course to play everyday.
I live about 15 mins away from BH here in Roanoke VA, finally got to play for the first time last October.
