Roll Call: North Carolina

Long shot here but looking to connect with anyone in the legal industry in the Piedmont Triangle.

Wrong side of the state for me to offer reccomendations…I am sure someone here is very familiar with attorneys in that area lol

Piedmont or Triangle and what sort of law. Might be able to direct you if I know the city etc

To be completely honest, unsure of what city. My wife and I are contemplating a move to WS, Kernersville, or High Point area. I currently practice civil litigation, business consulting, and municipal law. I am trying to find some connections for employment opportunities and networking prior to a move.

Sorry I am not of much help in those areas of practice. Kernersville is a small town with mainly small 2-4 person firms doing a general practice with several sole practitioners. WS has larger firms. HP is sort of in the middle. Wyatt Early probably the firm to check with in HP. Problem is there is a law school in WS and GSO and one coming in HP. Spitting out fresh meat annually!
I would contact a head hunter.

Good evening everyone… DC refugee coming down to Kitty Hawk for the weekend (17-18) to celebrate my birthday would love to get out for a round any recomendations?

Currituck Club up towards Corolla is great. Also Kilmarlic is a fun course in the area.

Nags head links is a short tight piece of property, but some cool views. Not my favorite but I’m glad to have played it and wouldn’t mind playing once every few years.

Currituck has become our go to place to play.

@acox514 came in to share and @tigersfirehydrant nailed it… Kilmarlic and Currituck are my top 2 and its not particularly close.

The pointe
Nags Head
Duck woods

are all ehhh, but those two would be where I would go in a pinch. Nags head being the most ā€œuniqueā€ of the bunch.

Duck woods is traaaaash. Haven’t played the pointe.

Thank you all for the suggestions Currituck just punched greens so weather permitting i’ll be out at Kilmarlic at 7:27 3 spots still left on site if anyone cares to join

Saw that you may live in the OBX. I grew up just across the bridge in Chesapeake, often visit the OBX with my in-laws who travel down from Michigan every year. This year we are actually here for two weeks. I’m working remote the first week and curious if you know anyone who has unused office space who would let a person or two work remote from their office? We have a bit crowd coming in mid-week and attempting to work from the vacation home may get challenging.
