Roll Call: North Carolina

It’s awesome. The new ownership has put a lot of money into it. Restored greens and bunkers. One of the better courses in eastern NC for my money.

I’d go if it wasn’t five hours away.

Hey All! Sorry in advance for the extremely golf adjacent question out of nowhere. But, as I don’t know anyone in the area thought this might be closest I could get to word of mouth from friends.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a realtor in the pinehurst area?

Angela Thompson - we used her when we bought our house in Carthage and when we sold a lot in our neighborhood. She’s been in the area forever and knows everyone. Her husband is a GC so between the 2 of them, you’ll get whatever you need.

We used Pete Garner through Pinehurst Resort Realty, local guy who knows everyone, was very good.

We were also in touch with Meredith MacDonald at Keller Williams, who seemed excellent and we would have worked with but were having to move fast and things were underway with Pete. I bet she would be awesome to work with.

I would recommend Tim Venjohn with Rhodes, he has been here forever as well.

You need some NC Homeowners insurance. Now we’re talking. I’m your guy. #shamelessplug

Love a good #shamelessplug and speaking of… may not be able to help in Pinehurst but anywhere from Topsail down to the SC border is my sweet spot and I’ll be happy to help anyone buy or sell their house.

DM me your info and I’ll gladly add you to my list of preferred vendors for clients if you don’t mind working with clients along the coast!

I have sold some fire hose to a few courses over the years now that I think about it. I can’t even legally take most of my customers out golfing unfortunately : (

Coming up to Wilmington from Myrtle Beach in a couple weeks and looking for a recommendation for a good dinner spot. I’ll be going to the IMAX Theater that afternoon. Doesn’t have to be near the theater and open to all kinds of food. Nothing super fancy.

My only experience in Wilmington is flying in and out a few times and haven’t spent enough time up there. Any help is appreciated.

fork n cork downtown is my favorite spot when I visit

I’m not a Wilmy expert or resident, but wife and I spent the weekend recently and found a couple good spots, there are plenty more that I’m sure others can weigh in (cc @AirMailWedges @iPress) The places I do know, Fox’s Hole In the Wall, incredible burger. Fat Tony’s, great Italian if that’s what you’re after - the classic Italian dish of fried mac and cheese bites are a 10/10 would recommend.
