I am gonna be headed to Beaufort, NC for a wedding in October and my plan is to take a week off before the wedding and golf. What do I absolutely need to know? Planning on Pinehurst and Pine Needles.

New to the Refuge. Currently living in Wilmington (since ā97). Live a 9 iron away from the 3rd tee box at Muni. Consider it my home course, but also a member at Beau Rivage. Been playing consistently for 3 or so years now. Always looking for other like minded golfers to ruin a 4 hour walk outside.

Welcome @deez_nauts!! I am 45 minutes west of Wilmington up I40 but work in a neighboring county so I am in ILM often. Glad to have you and hopefully we can tee it up sometime around town. There are a few in the group that stay in ILM. Speaking of BR how is the course doing? Been a couple years since I played thereā¦The Muni is awesome as well

I know Kenansville well enough. Big fan of Duplin CC. Love that course and those tiny greens that are impossible to hit.
BR is BR. I play there every Tuesday in a Menās League. Lots of highs and lots of lows. Greens are fast right now IMO.
If you get into ILM, let me know and weāll try and set something up.

Sounds good about BR! Does the name Rick Wallace ring a bell? He is a work colleague of mine on the private side that lives and plays at BR. He travels around the region quite a bit to play so I am not sure if he plays in the menās league anymore.
