PN/MP are my preferred option now although it looks like I’ll have to pay the full membership price. Would love your impressions on the club; I know golf is the main amenity. Are times readily available? Does resort play take large blocks in the peak seasons?
I have been a member at PNMP for ten years (non-local). Sometimes there are issues but now there will be three courses so that will most likely eliminate any issues. I cannot recall any problems in my years but I understand that the resort has people booked months in advance so my last minute desires may be unfulfilled. As with all things, some people have left as they can’t get out when they want etc but I would say overall by a vast majority the members think it is a great deal. The member events are an excellent deal if for nothing other than the food!
Hey guys! New user here. I’m high-ish handicapper on the north side of Charlotte and play locally at Highland Creek and Skybrook, I’m also a distance member at Finley in Chapel Hill. Cheers!
Welcome to the Refuge and NC Roll Call! We have a very active WhatsApp thread for the Carolinas and there is a Charlotte one. Let me know if you are interested.
There is also a NYE event at Tobacco Road if you are interested and available.
Played Southern Pines today. Bunch of trees coming down. #1 is playing as a par 3 with front left bunker being shaped today. and #2 tees are way forward.
While we at it, let’s play Pine Needles on Saturday 1-2. I signed up for 9:10, it’s the only tee time before 11. Got three spots on the website. Come and get it. Bourbon is on me.
