If legacy is what you’re looking to play, I can get you a time if they fill up. Just shoot me a DM if that’s what you decide you want to do.
Appreciate it man. Tee sheet is pretty wide open and letting me book online, so I went ahead and grabbed 9:34a. Look forward to seeing the place, and if anyone wants to join on let me know!
Sounds good! I’ll be just getting back from NIT so I might join you if I’m not washed.
same, it’s the only reason I’ll have my sticks with me! I fully expect to be washed, but no better way to clean the system… a little hair of the dog for us
Greetings Nashvillians, I’m looking to play on Friday early afternoon somewhere reasonably Uber/Lyft-able from downtown. Anyone down for a game or have any recommendations for courses?
Pulled off Park Mammoth Friday, Sweetens Saturday this weekend without a hitch, even with the rain in Middle TN.
If I could do it again, I would only change playing 36 at PM instead of 18.
Headed to Nashville for a wedding in late April. Should I bring the clubs? Where should I play?
Hermitage would be easy place. Not super memorable.
If you have an extra day, I drive to Sewanee is worth it IMO. 1.5 hours away.
Hermitage, Greystone (about 40 mins away), Gaylord in a pinch, I personally ride for Ted Rhodes which is a muni. I’d avoid Shelby as far as munis go.
The Barn Burner returns to Kenny Perry’s Country Creek in Franklin, KY for the fourth time since the establishment of The High Cotton Club.

After The Barn Burner in February, The High Cotton Club will travel south to Alabama for The Overlook on March 15 before The High Cotton Classic kicks off in April…
The Ninth Edition of The High Cotton Classic returns to a singles match play format, where competitors have 16 days to schedule and play each match.
Entry fee for this event is $115/player, and the field is limited to the first 16 players to register and pay in Tennessee and Alabama, respectively. In addition to contributions to the prize purse and charity, each competitor will receive a gift as part of the event.
The field will be split into 4 groups of 4, with these groups competing in a round robin format at 75% handicaps, which will be revised in between each stage of play. The highest points earners after the Group Play stage will earn a payout for winning the group and advance to the Semifinals of Knockout Play. Both players in the Finals match will be eligible for Calcutta winnings and receive payouts from the prize purse.
The Champion of The High Cotton Classic in TN will face the winner of The High Cotton Classic in AL for a berth onto the High Cotton Clubs 2025 Roost Regional Squad. If the overall High Cotton Champion can not compete, the Runner-Up will be chosen as the alternate. If the Runner-Up can not make the trip, the other two finalists will be next on the alternate list (TN, then AL), before semi-finalists from TN will be considered*, ultimately reverting to qualifiers from other routes, if necessary.
*The Board maintains the right to vote on qualifier in certain scenarios, if called for.

We also have 8 heading to Park Mammoth on Friday, February 21 before The Barn Burner! If anyone wants to join, we’ll have a spot in our season ending event and regional qualifier on the line.
If y’all need someone to fill out a foursome hmu, I’m off that day, I need to pick up a 2i from Bowling Green anyway.
Watching the Courses to Play in 2025 pod and dreaming of warmer weather. It got me thinking: what courses within driving distance of Nashville are you wanting to play this year?
Old Kentucky Home has my interest, for no other reasons than the name and I saw one picture where the course looked really good.
I also haven’t been to Old Fort since they reopened, hoping to bring the High Cotton Club’s May event there.
#1 is still Park Mammoth though, although this year it’s because of the short course. I am so ready for drinks and loops with the crew up there
Spots are still available for The Barn Burner at Kenny Perry’s on 3/1 as well!
I’ve played Old Fort once or twice since they reopened and was really pleasantly surprised. If they could just avoid 5+ hour rounds that place would really be a gem
Hello Nashville-people,
I’m coming down on Tuesday, April 22nd. Flying in around 9:30 AM. I want to head up and play Park Mammoth on Tuesday. Wednesday, I get to do a barrel pick at Jack Daniels. I’d like to play one more round on Thursday before I fly out at around 6:00 PM.
Any course recommendations? Also, would anyone be interested in playing?
Hermitage is probably your best bet if you can get an early tee time
Just joined The Nest after years of listening to NLU and lurking on the forums. Nashville local.
Welcome! Hope you got to experience the block party this weekend
Come to the Extinction in June! @leftysauce
