Bump. Still looking to get out on Tuesday next week. Anyone in the area available?
Have a great time and welcome to Nashville. Unfortunately I will be in Hilton Head but hopefully you can drum up a game.
Also, this is truly disgusting work from Golfweek on the top 5 public golf courses in Tennessee:

Obviously Gaylord is a disgrace to be on here but I’m equally aghast at Stonehenge being on here.
Haven’t played Stonehenge, but Gaylord Springs on there tells me enough. Despise the place for a number of reasons.
Nashville team, unfortunately not a golf related question. I will be in town this weekend without the sticks as the wife probably wouldn’t allow golf in addition to the Titans game.
The question is…does anyone have a better spot for a cocktail in the Music Row/Hillsboro area than Old Glory? That was the recommendation we have gotten so far, but this place has never led me astray.
Old Glory is a super cool space but can be loud and crowded depending on the time of day. Not sure what your preferred vibe is.
Patterson House in Midtown is excellent. More of a speakeasy vibe.
I am over in East Nashville and there are all sorts of amazing spots over here. Pearl Diver, Mickey’s Tavern (local dive spot), Atta boy (speakeasy with amazing drinks), and Rosemary to just name a few. Inglewood Lounge was cool last time I was there. If its nice outside you should hit up El Fuego in Inglewood and hang outside at their new outdoor bar. Cheap and really good margs…
I am one of the few that really enjoys Gaylord. Sure the staff isnt great but I really enjoy the course. The greens are super nice. I played out at Hermitage this past weekend and they raised their prices across the board. Paid almost $95 to play the Generals…That is absurd. They are super proud of that course and I see no reason why…I don’t think I will be out at Hermitage again anytime soon…
Trying to get out to Two Rivers on Friday with a buddy if anyone wants to join in.
Cross posting in case anyone local is interested and wants to save on shipping…

11:50 tomorrow at Two Rivers I’ve got two spots. It’s me and another buddy but would love to fill the foursome.
You still got a spot open? I’m in if you’ve got room.
Sent you a message. Right now it’s just me and a buddy so please feel free to join in!
Should be a fun round. My buddy who have never broken 80 has shot 81, 82, and 80 in his last couple rounds is due to break the elusive 80 mark. I’ve got a few scoring goals I need to get before the end of the year as well…
New to the Nest, but checking in from Sumner County! Had to find the Nashville group on here!
What’s up guys!
Folks, @tanner_sandel is one of the finest gentlemen I’ve had the pleasure of knowing… An excellent addition to the Nest, I encourage anyone who has the opportunity to meet/play with him to do so… Welcome brother!
With that being said, we do have an opportunity to play in “The High Cotton Round Up” on Saturday at 12 Stones… I’m sure many of you remember my posts about The High Cotton Classic, well this is our end of event celebration. We’ll be playing a fun 6/6/6 alternating format with teams of 2 and teams of 4, plus extra contests like CTP, LD, and a 2 man skins game. We’ll be gathering at The Rudder after for food/drinks/payout and to exchange stories from the Classic.
If you haven’t been involved in the Classic before, or maybe you’re curious and just looking to play Saturday, come on out and meet a great group of guys and get a feel for our event!
Thanks brother!
To echo, coming off of a great Second Edition of the High Cotton Classic. Ready to dial it in on Saturday!
I need to keep an eye on this. I play a ton out at Twelve Stones. Where is the info on this? 12 Stones website? Or do you need to be on the membership program they have out there?
Twelve Stones is just our host site for the event, follow us on social @thehighcottonclassic to keep up to date with the latest happenings…
We had our field locked in until someone dropped out due to prior commitments last night… going to be a blast, would love to have you out!
Re: Twelve Stones, I saw in “Tee Times” they had a feature/advertorial on Twelve Stones talking about how they were investing in the course and trying to make it better which was encouraging. I really like some of the holes and really hate like two of the holes out there and was curious if there was any talk of re-doing/changing any of the layout (mainly #14 which is terrible). I think 15-18 is a really cool stretch of holes.
So my question is, are they doing anything to the actual design of the holes or just trying to make conditions better/consistent?
Come on out! It’ll be a great group of guys
I feel like their main goal is to improve the conditions as you mentioned.
Although there’s a couple of holes like 14 that aren’t the best, with improved and more consistent conditions it won’t be a *terrible place to play. Not my first choice but I don’t mind it.
