Harpeth is 5 minutes from me and I have yet to play it. Every time I call they are booked or tell me I need to tee off before 1 to get a cart. I don’t get that place

I have 2 passes for Sweetens tomorrow that I can’t use. Let me know if anyone wants them. I’ll release them back to the course around noon CST today.
I agree. Apparently metro rule is that they don’t take tee times until 7 days in advance. I’ve called at 8 am one Saturday for 8 am the next Saturday and they’re already booked until 11. Makes no sense.
It also doesn’t help that they have the worst customer service of any business I’ve ever seen in my life. Every time I go out there I come out with a crazier story of how awful they are
Is Hermitage Presidents Reserve a cart ball course or would it be an okay walk?
Not a local but played there last month and wouldn’t recommend it. Holes are pretty spread out and it’s probably close to a mile from the clubhouse to the 1st tee.
I’ve walked it before. In the summer definitely not. In fall/spring I’ts doable. But there are big gaps between greens and tee sites.
Thanks guys. We will probably walk 27-36 at sweetens the day before, so sounds like we are riding at Hermitage. Wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fun/pleasurable walk before we rode. Sounds like we won’t miss much!
I have always wondered this myself…
I have played Harpeth the past two weekends and it has always been around the noon time…No chance you get those morning tee times…Two Rivers is quickly becoming difficult as well…
Played Towhee Club this weekend and really enjoyed it. Fairly wide open on a lot of holes with some interesting, slopey greens in some spots. My only gripe is that some of the pins were put right into the side of a slope but, again, made it interesting. It is a bit of a hike to get there from central Nashville but definitely a fun course. Would recommend.
Anyone want to try and play somewhere Friday around 10? Thinking Two river, Montgomery bell, or something along those lines
I have a 10:40 at Two Rivers Friday if anyone wants in.
Anyone up for Two Rivers? I have a 4-some booked but literally all three of my buddies had to bail…I am going to call them around 2pm to cancel the other three spots unless someone wants in.
Would love to but I’m headed to Sweetens to play in the Friday Night Lights event. Next time!
Report back on how that goes! Sounds like a good time.
Also interested in turf conditions (hard/soft) since I’ll be there Sunday.
Sorry man I missed this. I’d be interested next time if you are looking to fill a spot. Just shoot a message over
You bet! Course was wipe open. First time I have played a single on my friday morning round all year long. I hate playing 18 by myself…
Hey folks! Anyone want to play around noonish on Tuesday the 23rd? Playing Gaylord springs Wednesday with fam, so I’d prefer to play a different course Tuesday. Who’s in?!
I hate playing 18 by myself…
I hear you on that. I played Champions Run yesterday trying to get out before the rain hit because (a) I had never played it (b) they had almost a full tee sheet so I assumed I would get paired up with a group. The end result? Most people didn’t show up so I played Champions Run by myself (I made it around in about 2 hours which was nice). Would have rather played with people but also would not have finished before the rain in that scenario.
On Champions Run, not worth the drive from Nashville. They have some interesting holes but the conditioning is a little rough and the greens are pretty funky. Particularly the par 3s which all have some wonky greens. The greens are also very small in a lot of areas. Overall it is fine but why anyone (mostly questioning myself here) would drive all the way out there from Nashville is beyond me. I liked holes 7, 9 (great, challenging hole), and 18. But as has been mentioned on here, if you are going to drive out from Nashville you would be much better served to play Henry Horton, Montgomery Bell or Greystone for about the same price.
